Sonic > In/Out Burger > Five Guys

Five Guys have defiantly lost their novelty, maybe because i'm from northern va and the company originated here.

Gross. Sonic has awful burgers. I'd sooner go to Wendy's and Burger King.

I'd agree with that.

That's actually the case with me.  I have a Wendys, BK and Sonic all close to me... and I go to Wendys.

To be fair though I dislike the texture of the whopper and that's why I don't like sonic burgers... they both have that same weird texture.

Yeah, i have never heard of them, but even going 20 minutes west of here over the border into Ohio and you find a lot of suddenly-strange chains.

Well and I mean, outside being only in Arizona, to give you an example of just how crazy In-and Out burger is.

There official Menu looks like this.

Cheeseburger

French Fries.

Soda

Milkshake.

That's it... and there is ALWAYS a dozen or more people in line before you and about 10 people sitting down and standing by the drink area for their food.

It's not even like Five guys where they have a ton of different topings... it's just the regular burger toppings and that's about it.

If your ever out west it's worth going to just to see the lines.

Thats how in and out was when they first came here to utah, but now they are just like any other fast food place.  The excitement is gone and with it the lines.  They do have pretty good burgers for fast food though, but personally im more partial to carls jr.  Especially since they have fry sauce, something that im guessing you guys know nothing about because it seems to be a utah only thing.

Carls Jr is ok... but with they're pretty expensive and their adds really annoy the hell out of me so  I only eat there when I'm desperate.  (Them or Mcdonalds)

You could say I have a "soft" boycott on them.

Ew! Don't even stick Wendy's, one of the best Fast Food Restaraunts, with Burger King, ever! Burger King should be called Grease King!

I wholeheartedly support their support of equality for LGBT people, but I honestly think Oreos are pretty overrated.

I guess I'll buy some anyway.

So, I will ask: Is anyone here going to boycott Oreos, because a rainbow one was produced for an ad campaign in support of Pride month?

Homophobes don't tend to stick around very long here, so I doubt anybody will answer "yes" to that question. At least, I hope they won't.

Sick of people shoving gay pride crap down people's throats. It's so stupid. Are people so low that they have to add a political message to cookies now? As a christian, I will never recognize their partnership despite what the government claims.

Christian religion doesn't mean you have to hate gay people. This image is from the Christopher Street Day in Berlin, it shows the truck of the christian gays:

http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Datei:Huk.jpg&filetimestamp=20060724085955

The banner on the left says something like: man-on-man, lesbian, confident, christian

(Beware, some of the photographs in the german CSD-article are NSFA - not safe for americans)

No. The bible clearly states that being gay is a sin. Any christian who defends it as if it is not a sin is either not actually a christian or very mislead and ignorant of what their religion actually states. Sure, you can be kind and nice to others with different beliefs but you must draw a line and the sand and not stand up for something that is explicitly stated as wrong.

The question here is: Will what they did make you boycott Oreos?  Also, if you say yes, will then go forth and be involved with an active boycott of Oreos, to make your point heard?

No I'm not boycotting cookies over a stupid pr stunt. It just irks me that a cookie brand would take a political stand for no reason especially one as stupid as this.
Why can't a cookie company just make cookies. -_-
