Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Wii U is 26th and 3rd on Amazon.fr/.de charts !

Today, the Wii U is already 26th of the Amazon France Charts and third of the Amazon Germany Charts !

Strong performance with a high price (and, probably a false price) of 350 euros...

It's baby seal time!

If those positions hold steady then that kind of surprises me, as I would think it was the other way round (Wii U slightly more popular in FR than GE)

yay and Rayman Origins is 4th. Oh wait that game didn't even chart...
Yeah Amazon is not a credible source.

Yes, it's true, Nintendo products are most popular in Germany and France and not so much in UK.

BUT, usually, The pre-order aren's amazing about Nintendo Products (in USA, I don't know, but in France, it's true) on amazon.

Probably because lot of gamers buy Nintendo Systems after to try it...

For this reason, it's a good sign to see the wii u in great position on Amazon.de and France pre-orders. Just my opinion...

Right now, the Wii U is actually in 33rd on the French chart. Now in 4th on the German chart.

Also interesting is that NSMB2 is currently 11th on the German chart. Isn't in the top 40 on the French one (although the French chart has both 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 in the top 20).

EDIT: Also, NSMB U is currently in 32nd on the German chart.

EDIT 2: I notice that, while the German and French Amazons have prices listed for the Wii U, the UK (and the US) one doesn't. Could this be why the UK (and US) one doesn't have Wii U on its chart? Does a game need to have a listed price in order to be on the chart?

But this cannot be true, because you see, Nintendo is teh doomed

Where did this data come from?

OT: If this is true then that's great news! Especially at that stupidly high price!

Well, this at least shows some interest for the Wii U. Worst case scenario is equivalent to that of Gamecube sales, then.

Why do you hate the baby seals so much!?

Former something....

Good. People officially know it exist.
