Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii has much more third party interesting games than any other for me

You did say that actually lol. You said and I quote "No, I said reception, and the reception was mediocore." My response is that's an opinion so try again.

obviously not every single person who played the game thought it was mediocore, but im sure the vast majority did, otherwise it would have flown of the shelves and we'd be praising it to this day. lets use some common sense. try again

But did you played Arc rise or not?
also i liked Conduit more than Killzone 3 and CoDMW3
if you start judgin by sales then NSMB must be the best game of all time xD
the DS has some amazing rpgs but Arc rises boss fights are some of the best ive never played in a rpg...

I did enjoy Conduit very much. And I enjoy Conduit 2 even more! Best FPS on the Wii

I just LOVED like most people didn't get the words "my list of games" and "exclusive".

Just everybody show me like the HD consoles have multiplatforms.

EXCLUSIVES i talk about.

Thanks for the other who get the message.

You put third-party in the title. It would make a lot more sense if you actually followed what your title conveyed.

But i wrote "I will just say the interesting exclusives i own" it's the job of VGChartz to compare i was doing something personal because i can't say an absolute statement like some guy in this thread, not you.

This thread was supposed to share opinions there are not absolute things like.

Personal experience, that's all.

So now that you have understood, think as me as a gamer see how many 1st party title i have and how many 3rd ones.

I have only selected interesting games that i'm sure they are good, so ignore all comments you said things about bad games. Maybe in some other list on this thread, not on my.

i dont say Conduit was much better, im just saying i enjoyed it more, maybe because it was something original..

I liked, how they mixed nearly every conspiracy theory into the game. It was much fun to read the hidden messages. The gameplay itself wasn't something special, but it wasn't bad either.

I think Wii is one of the best consoles ever for those more obscure gems (Little King Story, Rune Factory Frontier, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Trauma Center, Last Story, etc...); the best this gen aside from maybe DS which actually saw some of those obscure titles have huge comercial success (Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright come to mind). For mainstream third party games, outside of Just Dance, the Wii is slim on those titles.

I think the Wii is probably Nintendos worst console ever in percentage of quality titles amongst shovelware. It was the most successful though, success and quality do not always go hand in hand.

Are you implying that Little King Story, Rune Factory Frontier, Muramasa, Trauma Center, and Last Story are shovelware? Because I heavily disagree.

I also disagree that the Wii had a larger percentage of shovelware than NES, GBA, or Gameboy for certain, and maybe even DS.

I cant believe people didnt like Red steel 2, it is an amazing game, the first FP beat em up ever and a great game overall...The Conduit is good also, No more heroes 2 has an amazing story and aesthetics, Arc rise fantasia is the best jrpg this gen, Grand slam tennis is a great tennis game, Tales for Wii is also good....

i could go on but im very lazy :)
the Wii has very nice exclusives, just not mainstream ones that are advertised as the second coming of Christ...which is pretty much the only thing HD consoles had, advertising and flashy graphics...really sad that has become the standard this gen...

Core of Nintendo is pretty small even though their base is extremely large , the sales of the hot third party gems shows that. A small core coupled with piracy don't make for a good paring in terms of the games everyone expect people to take Nintendo seriously with. Luckily first party did well. Those attach rates for the bundle were crazy. Second of all Red steel isn't a beat em up, its a hack n slash /fps. Punch out was more of a beat em up if you want to use an example.

Violent focussed games like Conduit or No More Heroes are very far from the core of what Nintendo is all about.

I'm not sure about the consoles mentioned, but I'm pretty sure the percentage of shovelware on Wii is around the same as the percentage of shovelware on PS2.

You disagree but the backlog disagrees with you. I never said the Wii didnt have great third party games, I said they have them but they are in a sea of shit. Naming a couple gems isn't going to make the crap you have to sort through to get to it any easier.

I cannot take this seriously. PS2 development yielded many great PS2 games which harnessed the Dual Shock (Which really isnt a stretch when N64 analog changed the way we game on a gamerpad). The majority of third party titles on the Wii were commercial failures, to the point where people had to question whether devs were having a hard time with the tech or they just didn't care about anything but to make a quick buck. They treated the gimmick commercialization as a cheap whore essentially.

This isn't an an editorial, but this response presents a good example of what I am trying to say... (See the first response after reading the question)
