£5. Not sure if he was homeless or not but I assumed he was.
He made me laugh after a miserable day at work so was well worth his reward.

A punch in the face...

It was almost midnight and my gf was getting cash from an ATM machine while I was was standing a few meters away talking with some friends.. when this creepy came up to her and said he wanted money.. she gave him 5 bucks and he said he wanted more cause he knows she was carying more cause he saw her using the ATM.. I heard her giving a light squeek so I rushed over and punched the homeless dude in the face.. he walked away after that...

and you did not even say one word to him before, together with the rest of your friends? like...go or i/we will punsh you? crazy guy...

there is a drunken or so every weekend who gets you on the nerves, do you punsh all of them?^^

I think $5 is the most I've ever given. I live in a city with a relatively low amount of homeless people. I generally try to give food or something not $$ for booze.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Nothing and yes there are plenty of homeless guys here.

$20, he shook my hand. Shame on anybody who has never given to the homeless. Also, to those who state that they should simply get government assistance, do you not realize that the majority of homeless people are mentally ill? Their problems are typically complicated by a host of psychological issues.

I had egyptian pounds left that i didn't bother with and gave about 150.50 , which means 20 dollars at least.

Was he confused that you gave him Egyptian currency or happy?

I was in egypt , i just didn't want it because I was packing for traveling.

That makes more sence now.

I also have another story:

A few friends and I were at a Karaoke bar one night and when we were getting ready to leave my buddy's jacket was missing. We scavenged the whole bar and couldn't find it. He was furious, but luckily he had his wallet and keys on him, not in the jacket.

We just left the bar and started heading towards his car to go home and there was a homeless guy on the sidewalk sleeping with a jacket covering him. My buddy said "Is that my Jacket?!" He grabbed the jacket to look at it and sure enough it was. He yelled " THis is my jacket!" And I could tell he was seeing red. Before I knew it He kicked the Homeless gey really hard and started yelling at him. Another buddy and I pulled him back. The homeless guy looked up and started grumbling in such a drunken slur that we had no clue what he was saying. So I told my buddy, someone probably stole your jacket and when he saw nothing was in the pockets just threw it on this guy. There was no way he went into the bar in the condition he was in.

It took us four blocks to calm him down. Then he said, "Did I just kick a homeless person?, I can't belived I kicked him so hard and he had no clue what was going on." To this day he won't talk about that night.
