No Elder Scrolls or Fallout? You gotta play one of those at lease once... especially Skyrim and Fallout 3.

And I know I'm being nitpicky here, but Zelda II isn't an RPG by any stretch. The only difference in gameplay (aside from the side-scrolling aspect) is that you extend your life/sword/magic with XP instead of collecting heart containers and upgraded items at regular intervals like clearing dungeons in other Zelda games.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I knew missed a few. I owned Morrowind for PC. I own Fallout and Fallout 3 for PC. I own Oblivion for Xbox. Oblivion bored the hell out of me. I liked Morrowind and Fallout 3 was okay. I'll go back an update the list.

@Zero129

When I got half way through my list, I regretted starting this thread. I need to go back and add my Gameboy, Game Gear, GBA, and DS Rpgs.

I'd have no idea where to even start. I don't even know what is an RPG and what isn't anymore. Is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night an RPG? Is Yakuza? Dead Rising? I dunno!

Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3/NV, Skyrim, Valkyrie Chronicles...really just the mainstream ones, well I guess VC isn't mainstream but the rest are. I don't play those weird ones nobody has heard of outside of VGchartz, that win the best RPG threads as voted by VG members.

Too many to care to list, since a majority of my PS1/PS2 collection are RPGs. Plus, I played a bunch of GBA and SNES ones as well.

Please tell me I listed SOTN. I listed Castlevania II and SOTN took the concept and ran with it.  *checks list* Damn this thread was a bad idea. I'm too senile for this sort of thing.

I played a lot of rpg's in the ps1/2 days and most of them were japanese so its impossible for me to have a complete list and not to mention all the mmo rpg's I've played

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

I wouldn't consider either an RPG. But I have some pretty old-school RPG definitions.
