halo and low standards...seriously...you can like halo or not, but not even low, exceptionally low standards haha sure. people shouldn't confuse low or high standards with own taste. i don't like killzone as example but i would never say it has a low standard (at least not the ps3 games)

I enjoyed the campaign for Halo, Halo 3 and Reach. Halo 2 simply screams of lazy level design, broken AI and glitchy programming. I like the Halo series but Halo 2's single player is just bad. It has nothing to do with personal preference, I just don't like sloppy, second rate games.

i have no clue what you always talk about the glitches. i never saw glitches in halo 2 (mayybe i saw one but not more than in any other game). did you play it for pc? i believe it got horrible reviews maybe it was the pc version i don't know.

Haze. Excellent premise, god awful execution.

Surprised how few of you are listing objectively poor FPS games. Haze was so bad that there was guaranteed glitch where the floor beneath you would disappear towards the end of the game. Took a lot of retries to bypass it.

I only played the first Halo for PC and the controls were so sluggish it was unplayable. I own Halo 2 for the Xbox and there a troubling number of AI and graphical glitches. The most prominent other than the whole bots running into walls glitch is the downright atrocious filtering and pop-in problems. It is especially distracting when I'm watching one of the cut-scenes and textures start loading several seconds into the video. My copy is in good shape and my Xbox has no problems with any other games. I can kind of understand enjoying (tolerating) the relatively lackluster story and meandering through endless identical hallways and empty rooms but the glitches are infuriating.

notice how the PS3 fanboys pick Halo's right away...

i still have no clue which bots run in walls all the time on your xbox but the pop ups in cutscenes, yes they were a known problem. still one of the best ego-shooters of all time

just proves that many haven't played really bad games when they list for example Far Cry 2 as their worst FPS they have ever played.

Without particularly liking it (the sandbox part is horrible) it's still far above your average FPS. Even Haze is a decent shooter compared to quite a few others.

yeah if you look in this thread halo has to be the worst ego-shooter series of all time^^  to be honest i said killzone 2 but i explained that it is only personal preference and in reality a good game

yes i never bought games without reading tons of magazines in the past (bought like 15 different magazines every month before the internet was so huge) or reading on the internet in forums and gaming sites. sure you can still get a game which you don't like and it got good reviews or user votes but in no way is a game above 80 percent or something like that a super bad game. and i never bought a game with average reviews of 50%^^

Are you implying I'm a PS3 fanboy? That's a pretty big generalisation right there.
