Not that good... but still.. think he got i now.

AND when apple do a iphone 1,2,3,4 whatever.. a mac or and ipad.. or MS make a new windows.. Some people might not get thats this is a new and better product.. a new tv.. whit 3d... some might think it's just a normal tv..

Sudently this is not normal... but a big problem..? actully nintendo a one of those brands, where the "wow, they updatet" effect.. a insane quikly.. mayby half a year after launch.. all kids. and gamers... in the world will know.. just relax.

I don't get the confusion. Sony has been using Playstation here for damn near two decades.

Did they show off Playstation 1-looking games and hardware that looked similar in design to a PS1 when they first showed off the PS2?  And same thing with PS2 and 3?

Thought so.

Hmm just realized part of my post got eaten. It was suppossed to read Playstation [insert number or name here]. Unlike Sony, Nintendo has a new controller design for each console they release. The Wii U Game Pad is an all new controller design. Common sense based on prior history (Wii, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, SNES, NES) would dictate that the WiiU is an all new console.

Who is Jimmy Fallon anyway?

Only the host of the 2nd most watched late night show in the US.

When Christmas comes, some parents will go to the store and stand in line for the "new wii" then they will think they have bought one. Then their kid will open up a regular wii Christmas morning.
I know that is a unlikely scenario but I bet that will happen this Christmas at least once.

I already feel so bad for both that kid AND that parent.
I understand making the contoller the focal point of marketing but i can ever remember seeing less of a new console. The new wii U console itself is sooo overlooked, bland and boring.

Common Nintendo, was there any thouht to the design of the actual console? Seems like a lost opprotunity from a video game console maker.

The Wii U will come in black and white:

Exactly what sort of excitement do you want out of the system people put the disk into in order to play?

This is seriously worthy of a topic?

Indeed.

The exposure on his show is great; I like Fallon and I love the fact that he has "video game week" on his show every year after E3 (love the 8-bit intro he does that pays homage to Mega Man 2, Streets of Rage, Ninja Gaiden and Punch Out).  No other late night talk show host would ever do anything that cool.  It just really surprised me that he wouldn't know such an important detail about the product being featured.

It all worked out nicely in the end though; the crowd was impressed and took to it really well.

Let me guess, he also thought the iPhone 3GS was just the plural of the iphone 3G.

Nobody is legitimately that dumb. He is trolling you all.

This is why I watch Craig Ferguson at that time, if anything at all.

There is plenty of reasons to watch Craig, irregardless if Fallon is an idiot or not when it comes to video games.
