Yea and there's one that they are playing rockband on the ps3.. were you dont mention it.. just the wii..

Well what do you expect from ninte.... vgchartz.

Whhaaaaaa, everybody talks about Nintendo in the Nintendo forum! Whhaaaaaaa.

To be fair the real story was the rise in 50+ year old gamers. Though the video showed some WiiSports action, the aim of the story wasn't to throw support behind any particular console.

 I watched that a while ago. The only Rock Band they showed was for like 4 seconds and how do you even know it was even the PS3 one. This was all about the Wii and the casuals.

Leo-j you have no clue what system Rock Band was on while they were playing it. Anyways the whole article/video clip was about old giezers having fun mostly playing Wii Sports. The funny thing is this is the first time I watched the ABC news with Charlie Gibson for probably a year and I just happened to see the story. I usually watch the NBC nightly News with Brian Williams(And that is about the only thing I watch on NBC nowadays.)

Cry leo-j I'm sorry we are not talking about the PS3 in the Nintendo Forum what a shame!

Consider it forum suicide, but all the "Cry more leo-j" responses don't exactly paint you any better than his trolling. I wouldn't even consider this post trolling...take out his Sony-fanboy-tone and he's pretty much right...

If you want to see news of Rockband on the PS3, post news of Rockband on the PS3. Don't cry about how other forum users aren't pushing your agenda for you.

Yeah guys, you forgot to mention the geeky guy playing a Playstation. Please be fair.

@famousringo

The video shows a family playing the PS3, geezers playing the XBox 360 version of Rock Band (X-plorer guitar), and geezers playing WiiSports. Where's the agenda? All three systems are represented in the article. What's the harm in someone reminding the OP of this fact?

Quit complaining about the bias here. Other members don't have to try to make it PC by balancing every Wii thread with PS3 news. Especially when PS3 fans gets upset anytime the Wii gets mentioned in a PS3 thread. If you feel the Rock Band story is worth mentioning create a thread in the Sony section. Otherwise keep moving along and just ignore these threads.

Edit: Went back and slightly edited it to make it less hostile. :P

I don't have a problem with mentioning such things to the OP, I have a problem with the persecution complex that's displayed when somebody posts something with a Wii focus because the poster happens to only be interested in the Wii.

I don't really care about the news item at all, I just don't understand the expectation that posters ought to be representing other people's views. I don't expect people to represent any viewpoint except their own.

If you want your viewpoint represented, go ahead and do so. Don't complain because other people aren't doing it for you.
