Since the game is sitting on 84% on Metacritic, I don't mind one or two low scores.

By the way, Is Gamespot owned by Microsoft? Not sure, but I think I have heard about it somewhere. Can someone please clarify?

No way at all. If it was, it wouldn't be allowed to review all companies' games, and they certainly wouldn't be on Metacritic.

LOL, no. I just wanted to address an issue which I notice too often. Not that only this thread has this issue.

I'm in chapter 11 and so far I've unlocked one (non DLC) costume. I don't know about the rest of the game.

 

On topic: meh, I don't care what score some review page gives it, to each his own, I don't get pissed for things like these.

For me, the game is very, very good. 9/10 and one of the best handheld games I've played. I know it won't set the world on fire but I hope it has a decent opening and great legs because it truly deserves it.

Would be funny if they would actually re-review it and give it an even lower score, just to piss those damn fanboys off. Seriously, its not even the lowest score the game got until now. Cry less and play more.

I didn't score it. All I said was I don't think it's a bad score. Everything I was stated were examples of why I believe a 6 or a 6.5 is an above average score. The closes I got to scoring the game was  saying I doubted it was as good as Portal 2. But I didn't score it. You've latched on to one small example and completely missed the entire point of what I was saying. That's why I went on to further explain it with the following example of a proper 10 point rating system.

"Below is an example of how to break down the meaning behind a 10 point rating system.

The game "X Racing" is a racing game for all platforms.

Possible review scores for "X Racing":

10/10: Get this game even if you don't like racing games. It's one of the best games of the year, not just in the racing genre.

9/10: If you've ever enjoyed a racing game you'll like this.

8/10: A great racer, racing fans of most kinds will have fun.

7/10: Fun racer with a few flaws. If you're not a racing fan this won't change your mind.

6/10: An above average racing game with some flaws worth checking out.

I really don't understand why you are upset about an example I gave of a perfect 10 or stating my opinion that a 6.5 is not a bad score.
