I'm amazed people voted for Live, since Plus gives you so many free games, isn't it just fact at which is better?

Maybe its a matter of games library between the two services?

Yaya lol, I mean that Plus is just amazing since you already have online for ps3 free, yet Live is simply online which Sony provides free.

Of course system preference lies with things like, "Oh all my friends have 360, well I know what I'm getting!"

free and renting are two completely different things

You get ps+, you play it all you want for a year. Most people don't even play their games after a week. So itsnt anything like renting.

A question.

What if you download these games while having PSN+ and stop having PSN+ a few months later? Would you still be able to play them or would you need PSN+ to play them...?

No.

Specific content and the odd game remain accessible once your subscription runs out, although it's not often. LittleBigPlanet remained free for me.

As for dropping XBL Gold, I'm considering it as I don't play online any more. I still wouldn't buy PS Plus though, I want control over what I'm buying. I might sell my Xbox entirely though, after buying a gaming PC I can't justify keeping it.

Somehow, I really doubt Turkish has an XBL account.

I am completely anti Sony due to things they have done this gen. I have sworn off Sony products for good(Yes I am aware of the good games I am missing + I love the Yakuza games) after the fiascoes of this gen, but PSN+ is clearly superior to XBL in what it offers. It gives free games plus more deals per week than XBL. I cant imagine how PSN could be worse than XBL.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Nope.  You need PSN to be able to play games you didn't buy.  It is like Gamefly or Netflix in some of this regard, or what OnLive has.  You are paying a subscription model to access content.

Actually my financial situation made me rethink my Gold account, and downgrade to Silver.  I don't play online, and as nice as streaming of movies are, it just isn't worth it.  I miss out on a few bonuses.  I will say, outside of a few features, Silver is better than what I have with PSN, because demos are free.  With PSN, they put them in PS Plus and people have to pay for it.  There are exceptions, but I get more demos on XBL Silver than I do PSN.

He's right though, ZaneWane is a constant presence in PS3 threads, his trademark being an uncapitalised flame bait one liner. His consistency is impressive, if nothing else.

OT I haven't subscribed as I just have such a horrific backlog of games. When I'm through those this summer I might consider it, the cloud saves in particular as I'm travelling a lot nowadays. Never thought I'd sign up to a sub service but Sony may hve convinced me.

Sounds like a reasonable decision, sold of my PS3 because I couldn't justify keeping it as well.

Of course he doesn't have a XBL account, he just used someone elses article and tried to pass it off as his own opinion.

It's quite funny that the console war has to be about something like this.
The services are not equal, so why compare? It's all about personal usage or experience.
I experienced lots of disconnects on PSN when I used my PS3 (gotta admit, it was like 2010 I think, so may have changed) while I get close to no disconnects on Live. I rather pay 2-3$ a month (actually, there are always 1$ deals, or 1€ in Europe at least) and have this smooth experience than anger over disconnects or not being able to connect.
On Live I never have the feeling it may break down due to lots of people suddenly accessing it (Diablo III for PC is a great example here :P).
When you just compare the "worth" in games, of course PSN is better because you don't pay for online play or some games. But the service is a step behind.

Why argue about something like this? xD

Console wars are such, that is one company came out with a box of burps, someone would go onto a forum like this and trumpet how the console they favor has a box of burps, and the other systems don't have it, and how awesome the box of burps are.

Never said he isn't a flame-baiter, because we all know he is (Among others), I just don't think posting one-liners against him (Or the others) is going to help the forum attitude or the direction of threads. :)
