Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sony: Wii U is "its own generation"

WiiU shouldve come out in

2006 116 35.69%

2012 149 45.85%

show me the goddamn results 60 18.46%

Total:325

So Sony finally admits to picking up the leftovers from Nintendo.

i don't like any of those options on the poll. but i think in a way, it kind of is it's own generation

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Agreed, my ps3 did the ylod and I am buying a new one instead of the wii U.

What does your post have to do with the article?

The same as those that just said true, or he is right before me. Mine says that I think the Nintendo is playing catch up so instead of buying the wii u I will replace the same PS3 that can provide the same old third party and hardware I always had.

Same features or not, Wii was competing with the PS3 and is therefore  in the same generation.

Food for thought: Shove an apple in your brain

Alright Turk, you've dodged the question long enough... What's the deal with the poll? Seriously?

LOL, he still lacks the finesse in stealth trolling but by actually showing a quote, of all by Sony, shows some improvement. His poll also lacks creativity but he' getting there; gotta give him that

I thought the Wii was in its own generation too xD!

People who bought 100 million wiis (close to 100 mil), I would say 1/3 of them are xbox-ps3 owners! xD.

So...

25% of Xbox/PS owners have a Wii?  O.O

Sounds about right. Nintendo is the only company that remembers what a console is supposed to be anymore, so they're the only one maintaining the console generations. Sony and Microsoft are just making weird console-PC hybrids.

That's the biggest compliment one can give Nintendo. In sports they call it "in a league of their own".

I took this article as a compliment as well.  However, a lot of people didn't think so.  Oh well, I guess it's all about how one perceive things.
