no

This sounds like trying to find the good side in everything type of thing.

Just seems that Nintendo will never offer mature IPs like zombieU. The thing about humans is that we breed fast :P...meaning tons of new kids Nintendo can market to.

But unfortunately, when you grow up, Nintendo just seems to have your priorities as a adult gamer sidelined for the next generation of kids.

My two cents

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It's an ok video, but I can't concede his point. It's perfectly valid to not buy a console because what you've seen so far is disappointing, I'd argue that buying it when you haven't seen anything exciting is the more stupid choice. It's not about how many people bought PS3's ever, it's about how many bought PS3's right after that bad conference, and it certainly isn't as many as Sony would have hoped.

2nd point about how the games shown can't tell you the full capabilities, that's fair but then if these were all well that far below the consoles normal capabilities I feel like the Digital Foundry analysis would have been more positive. Sure its early days so it could be that what was shown used older builds of the dev kit, but then a lot of stuff could be true, just going off what we have now.

And then he just spends the last bit riding Nintendo's nuts talking about how even if Wii U was only PS3 or 360-like power they could do more with the power than Sony or MS ever could, bleh.

with nintendo you know games are coming, Zelda, Mario, Smash...its perfectly valid to buy a console for its upcoming titles rather than for the available ones

It really isn't, not from a consumer standpoint.  Why would you purchase this thing in order to let it sit next to your TV and do nothing when it could be cheaper by the time those games you actually want release?  If you can't think of one game that you have to play on a system then don't buy it just because there will be games you want at some later point.

but come on, theres always a game thats at least slightly interesting at launch, plus the console is backwards compatible, is not like the PSVita you know

12 minutes? You're asking for too much, bro.
