I thought this E3, we would see some stunning new IPs on the Ninty's new hardware, but none. C'mon we were just introduced to a bunch of games that is set to release across all platforms and 720p standard gameplay FPS. And yet a game like Watch Dog's release on the platform is still to get the confirmation.

It's not next gen. 720p, 30FPS, 8GB of internal storage, Nintendo is just playing catchup to the HD twins.

Nintendo has been living in Nintendo Land for a very long time. And in Nintendo Land the WiiU is next gen.

It doesn't matter to me though. I'll buy a WiiU for Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. And when Xbox 720 hits the market you can bet your bottom dollar that's where I'll be buying the multiplatform games.

If your talking from a pure graphical stand point then it's not really fair at this point to fully judge the system. I do think that the controller is very unique and innovative and has potential to really add to the future of video games. At the end of the day the experiences are what will drive the console and hopefully Nintendo will be able to deliver on that point. I was in Nintendo rage all morning on Tuesday, not because of the graphics of their machine, but rather the lack of games they showed.

All I care for is that WiiU will get all the 3rd party games that next-gen PS720 will get. Do this for me Nintendo, pleeaaase! I don't care if they're not graphical beasts, I don't care if PS720 looks better (as long as it doesn't look waaay better), all I care about is quality 3rd party titles! I know Nintendo will deliver awesome 1st party (they are after all king of 1st party content)

720p, you're only 7 years late Nintendo. There will be a big gap again between PS4/Nextbox and WiiU. -_- I just hope Nintendo first party games will be 1080p.

When Mario Galaxy came out it looked on par with any Xbox or Ps3 game on the market at the time. Even the early tech demo of Zelda looks better then most PS3 title now. I guarantee that by the time PS4 comes out Nintendo games will be looking just as good as early next gen titles.

By the time the 720 Xbox releases, Nintendo might already be releasing a new console as well. Microsoft confirmed they weren't releasing a next generation console for a long, long time. Also, in order to beat the Wii U or their own console (360, PS3) any time soon, they'll have to up the prices for their consoles all over again. PS3 can't afford a new console much stronger than PS3/Wii U, it would go back to $500. They're forced to play the waiting game before they can release new consoles without them costing too much.
