I'm about halfway through "The Ultimate History of Video Games" by Steven Kent

When I'm done with it I'm reading it again.

Yes, it's that good.

It is good. I've read it 3 times myself. :)

"House of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski will knock your socks off if you love post-modernist novels... and you aren't easily scared. :)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I personally liked "Watchers" by Dean Koontz.

And if you liked "A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" then "Nuklear Age" by Brian Clevinger is worth a shot.

CIHYFS?

Discworld series by Terry Pratchett if you liked Hitchihiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Harry potter series

So what are some of everyone's favorite books? I've had a hard time finding anything interesting to read lately and honestly, I'd love suggestions. I usually read fantasy (especially urban fantasy) , some sci-fi, well written non-fiction, some post modern stuff.

Read some of the Terry Pratchett Discworld books, you wont regret it, all as brilliant as the other.

I don't know the title in English but only in Dutch

The title is: Alleen op de Wereld. It's written by Hector Mallot! A free translation would be something like this: 'Alone on the world'... Maybe you know what book i mean when looking at the autor.

Another one is Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.

I am legend by Richard Matheson.

The last Harry Potter book.

Lord of the rings trilogy.

That kinda stuff...
