Dude you look like Roxas from KH2.

That bothers me too. Whenever someone says, "I could care less," I always try to find a way to say, "I couldn't care less," to subtly show the correct usage.

It also kills me how people say "seen" when they mean "saw." Example: "I seen Dave at the store today." Even worse are people who use "says" instead of "said." Example: "So I says to Dave..."

It also bothers me when people call every yellow flying insect a "Bee," or when people say, "I need to itch a scratch", instead of "...scratch an itch."

Oh and the word, "ain't" should be illegal.

This says it all.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

Great thread, I definitely get a laugh when people say I could care less, since it means they care.

People mixing up your and you're, and their/there/they're annoys me much more though. My biggest hate of all is people who mix up loose and lose. You didn't LOOSE your keys, but you did LOSE your keys...

I'm not an english native born and would like to know what of the following is the proper word: anyway or anyways?

Anyway is the right one.

Anyways is a bit like slang, a colloquial expression. I would only ever use it verbally, never write it down. It's more err quirky, overly casual etc.

You may also hear some people say 'anywho' which means the same thing as anyways and is just an unusual way of saying it. It's not strictly correct but is fine in friendly conversation. Although I think I've only heard my English friends use 'anywho' lol. Would be interested if any Americans use it.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

Why do people mistakenly say this when the expression is "I couldn't care less?" I COULD care less suggests that you do in fact care, but I know most people mean I COULDN'T care less (as in they don't care at all), as what they go on to say supports the latter, and if they in fact meant the former they would be contradicting themselves. Why do people find this expression so difficult? Why do I care so much? I don't know the answer to either question, but people please, the correct expression is

I COULDN'T CARE LESS

which is something I COULD (and probably should) care less about.

Step forward the wonderful replies stating that you couldn't care less about this forum =] Life's good.

Haha. When I read the title i was gonna post a comment saying the same thing. It really annoys me when people say it the way you wrote in the title. I'm happy to see that you do in fact understand.
