SO guys what do you think should/would be the next step for Sucker Punch?

Now they are part of Sony first party so they will get even better support than before in making their games. Also do you guys remember this guy

There was a HUGE backclash from the fans for the change in character model. Reason was basically not because the new model sucks but it's due to the change from the original design was pretty big. But I think this showed the direction they wanted to go with their games. They wanted to make Cole into a character that is more likeable and marketable.

If you have played Infamous 2, you would have realized there were a lot more humor involved than the first game. I feel that Sucker Punch is taking notes from ND and this guy

yep I think SP wants their own version of Nathan Drake. A funny and a very likeable guy. And honestly I think that would be a very smart choice from a business point of view. At least for me Infamous 1&2 were about having fun with your powers (despite all the grim realities surrounding your character). Using Ice powers to jump in the air, using fire to shoot even furthure and crashing down with electricity was SO MUCH FUN! I feel like that a character like ND (lol I just realized Naughty Dog/Nathan Drake =ND..coincidence?)

E3 is around the corner and we still do not know what they are working on. Interesting times ahead!

SO I personally think they should go for a new IP OR a complete reimagining for the infamous franchise. What do you guys think?

I loved- no I mean REALLY loved InFamous 2...HOWEVER, I don't want a 3rd.

Yeah I don't mind an infamous 3 (mainly for the gameplay..I LOVE it) but I would prefer a new IP too..or in the least a whole new direction for the infamous IP

inFamous 3 or a new ip is fine by me because i think they are really good and i think is hard for them to disappoint me

Well it depends. If their next game will be for PS3 or PS4. If ps3 then Infamous 3 and if PS4 then a new IP.

I'd want a new IP. Preferrably, a more realistic game (no powers) with a big focus on platforming. Not Uncharted styled platforming, but Shadow of The Collosus styled platforming.

I think infamous3 if a new console, stick to what you know and get to grips with tech, will be a great game still and then new ip when they have a handle on ps4.

I also wouldn't mind a spin off game for vita...similar to Festival of Blood

If PS4 is really coming out next year, get going on that - Infamous 3. If it will be a while, I suggest a quick Vita game first, new IP ideally.
