You know what's funny? In Europe Obama would be considered right wing but in the US the right wing think he's a socialist lol.

Yeah. I'd like to see Francois Hollande (who is pledging to work with Merkel on keeping the Eurozone together, btw) come over here. The ensuing heart-attacks would clean out a good few right-wingers.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It's not certain whether those two will be able to keep it together if Greece implodes, which it's about to.

Vote out incumbent governments. It is time to vote Obama out of government. Besides increasing the deficit from $5 trillion to $15 trillion in under four years. Obama has not done much to fix the American economy.
The majority of elections conducted since the 2007/08 global financial meltdown has resulted in the incumbent government being voted out. Now is time to boot out Obama and give Romney a go.

Obama because we do not need anymore extreme conservative's on the supreme court such as the ones bush appointed. Ruling on such things as citizens united. Then hopefully Elizabeth Warren runs in 2016!!!

Wow your math is a joke. Dude obama is put maybe 5 Trillion on the books and that is because bush cut taxs rather then paying for the wars. So the extra spending is really still paying for bush's f' ups. I'm no fan of OBAMA but you should just not vote. Romney wants to do bush's policies on steroids and cut another 5 trillion off mega millionairs tax's. Raise middle class tax's and cut all social programs, EPA, stuff like clean drinking water or good food. Cool !!! this article just reminded me how stupid voters are.

Anyone that wants to vote for romney just take a good look at what you want.

Yep the Democratic base is not happy with him and actually considers him some what of moderate republican.  So yes you are totally right and yes the left does know this but other options are out the window. So Elizabeth Warren 2016 hopefully.

Obama, just because somebody needs to stand in the way of the nuts in the House and their "cut everything but the military" attitude.

No great fan of Obama personally, but its a sad case of Democrats being categorically better than the alternative.

Why doesn't the Dem controlled Senate propose a budget (you know, like they're supposed to) that actually cuts stuff that the Dems would want to cut? You know, like some forms of military spending?

Oh, yeah, that's why: because, despite all their rhetoric, Dems like military spending as much as the GOP.

Why don't they just raise revenue and raise tax's on  the people who don't pay tax's.   Then we don't have to cut.

Why don't they just raise revenue and raise tax's on  the people who don't pay tax's.   Then we don't have to cut.

Because, in the long run, it doesn't matter what the tax rate is. The revenue sticks at 18% of GDP. The more taxes you raise on the poor (that is, the people who don't currently pay tax), the fewer people who go to work. The more taxes you raise on the rich, the fewer people who will actually pay the full rate (finding means, either legal or illegal, to reduce their taxes).

Believe it or not, people don't like to be taxed. And once it gets to a certain point, people will go through hell-on-earth to avoid them. In the UK, we introduced a 50% tax rate on those earning over £150k... do you know what happened? The amount of tax that was collected actually DROPPED. Why? Because at that point, people started saying "fuck that" and went through means to not pay any taxes at all (or, vastly reduced). The Government has since dropped that rate to 45%... but I doubt it will help anything, the bracket just needs to be scrapped entirely.
