Finally, I handed over the money and raced home. Its my birthday today and Ive spent it on my PS3.

Bit of pain to set up, never ending Firmware stuff and Mandatory installs. But am all up and running.

Borrowed some Blurays and bought Tron 1 & 2 and Fast & Furious ( 4 ) for 10GBP altogether. Nice. Really enjoy the crispness of Bluray. :)

The dashboard is a bit wierd to navigate, takes alot more presses to get to things than Im used to and its slower. But it does the job so, who really cares. Just a bit bland to with the UI. But like I said it does the job. Lots of features for cross platform stuff I see, like Vita and PSP.

I got R&C TOD and absolutely love that game. Its my faveourite PS3 game Ive ever played so far. Brilliant.

Also started Killzone 2 and its a pretty good FPS. Slower than most but purposely done so. Im enjoying it.

I dont have many amazing visuals games yet ( KZ2 being the best I have ) so as of todays standard it hasnt really shone to me as of yet or sown me anything I havent seen better already. But I am loving being able to play more exclusives. Its opened my choice for games alot. Started Resistance 1 as well, which isnt bad. Its no KZ2, but its a decent cross between Doom and Serious Sam gameplay. I like it.

I'd recommend R&C: A Crack in Time. It's different enough from ToD (for reasons you'll see if you play Quest for Booty or read a summary of what happens) while still being Ratchet and Clank. The Clank parts in particular are my favourite of all the games.

You might not care for Resistance 2, since it doesn't look as good as KZ2, and it's a shame you got a PS3 so late. Back when the game was released, the online co-op was a blast to play, and I'd have recommended the game based on that alone. I don't know if anyone still plays it online now though. I can't comment on R3 or KZ3, since I have yet to play either of them because of college.
