Well, they may wanna give Sports Connection some extra attention. And those who want to play games like Fifa probably already have a console for it. There's quite a few workout games though (which, unlike sports games, sold well on the Wii).


yeah but i think fifa or madden would be great with the wii u controller. changing tactics and stuff like this on the tablet would be cool.

I'm very excited for the Wii U. I love new tech and I love gaming so every time a new console is released, regardless of manufacturer, I am standing in line to get one.

No Dragon Quest X, No FIFA/PES, no EA Sports Games, no NFS, No Black Ops 2, no Capcom games...it looks just like a joke ! A good publicity for blockbusters, but not a serious information, I think...

Metro, Assassin's Creed, Arkham City, Darksiders and Dirt are all great games but ones that have probably reached the majority of their audience by now. I'll also be interested to see if the fighting game crowd could ever move to a Nintendo console.

And I wonder if Pikmin can carry the launch, seeing as it's not Mario, Zelda etc

Probably incomplete, but what's there looks genuine.

Super Mario Bross, Kirby, some good old school jRPG and I'm in - those would be the games I won't play on my X360/PS3. Do it Nintendo.

Not a real launch list. Do you honestly think Nintendo would sell "Shield Pose" (one of their demos from last year) as a full retail release?

It's guess work on Blockbuster's part. It's not a terrible line up, but there isn't much compelling, exclusive content--besides 2D Mario and Pikmin, and possibly Killer Freaks From Outer Space, if that turns out any good.

The list is bull though, that I agree.

@Sal. Come on', the SNES was the fighting console by excellence. Still Street Fighter II sales have yet to be beaten.

I have a ps3 however, besides batman( I already own) I will be waiting for wii u to purchase the rest. I will probably trade my ps3 in towards a wii u anyway. Hell besides 1 game all it's used for is a Blu ray. Not to mention I'm a huge alien buff and the whole use the controller as a motion tracker gimmick has me all gritty :). And already have me a 240 gig ssd waiting to be used for my new wii.
