The only games that motion controls doesn't fit into is fighting games. Because of the delay and slow movement. But we'll se if Brawl changes that.

 $967. It made me be able to pay back most of my credit card that I used for my PS3 purchase which cost me roughly $1200 including games and another controller. 

I was intimidated at first, but after trying it at a friends house. I fell in love with it and bought it.

Basket Ball sucks with wii controls. Everything else It works fine though i'd like to mention that using the sixaxis motion controls for driving in toy home felt better than driving in any need for speed for the wii (maybe even excite truck). Thats my opinion.

I bought Wii for one purpose only. So that I may go onto countless of forums and whine about how much I hate the controls and to waste peoples time asking if *insert game here* uses the gc controler instead.

I bought the Wii based on blind faith. Crazy controller? Last gen graphics? One game I really wanted to play, but I already own on the Gamecube? SIGN ME UP!!

And I can honestly say that it's the best impulse buy I ever made!! I love it.

Winter Sports is a perfect example a 3rd party Wii game that nailed the controls. On the PS2 the game would be meh on the Wii we were up to 2AM playing with friends and pratically had to tear the Wiimote and Nunchuk out of thier hands so we could get to sleep.

For FPS when done right it is simply awesome I've already eBayed my RE4 GC version because there is no way I would play it again and I can use the $15 I got to buy a Wii FPS instead.

Some of my friends at school don't like the Wii because they think they look stupid standing up and playing games like Wii Sports. So some people don't like the Wii because of the controller but a lot of people do like it for the controller.

Most people don't buy a Wii because of the little supply. For the most part, the Wii mote is helping the Wii. Adults and Doctors like the Wii cause you can get exercise when playing. Something that wasn't in the GC. This introduces new customers that didn't buy the GC but bought the Wii. A big sales incentive over the PS3 and XB360. The controller is a little hard to use sometimes but the entertainment and the exercise outweighs a small issue.

Ill admit, its a big reason i dont want to get a Wii. Every time I've played it, i didn't much like it. It works well for the mini game and party sort of games, but i think the little bit more hardcore games i didnt like it much for.

Specifically SMG, i personally couldnt stand the controls playing that game. I played it for a few hours, and it just didnt feel as tight as i could have done with a game pad.

Also i hate the idea when people tell me "if you play it, its good exercise". First of all, this has been shown to be a load of crap, there was a study recently that showed it actually is nowhere near as good as even just going outside for a walk. Secondly, i play video games to have fun and relax, i go to the gym to workout and stay in shape.

honestly, if they had some sort of like regular controller that you can have an option to use in some games (which we know is possible in games like Call of Duty 3 and other games when there are versions of it on other systems) then i would be more inclined to pick the system up.
