'The Avengers' has been receiving immense treatment by the audiences on the pre-release. 'Rotten tomatoes' posted an impressive average of 8.1/10. My friends who have seen the movie are screaming "A for Avengers, A for Awesomness.. " Here in my country (Qatar), we really don't get early premieres, so need to wait till its wide release on May 4th. Damn,I missing those days when I could watch Real D3D/Imax at BFI, London.  So guys n gals who've seen already, what's your opinion? And those not seen it yet, are you hyped like hell? I'm immensely hyped...

Also the most promoted movie so far this year in the U.S. anyway, saw tons of adds for it already. Also they promoted it during today's Heat vs. Knicks game. Plus the movie gets tons of free adds with the Dr. Pepper cross promotion product placements for the win I guess.

I dont really like to listen to reviewers at release, from what i heard it has a lot of fan pandering, wich fans will be happy with. Will see ittomorrow.

I am looking forward to it although I must say tthe fact that Thor sucked big time kind of dims the light for me. RBJ will help make it cool though.

I really enjoyed it, I mean it was seriously brilliant. I mean seriously seriously brilliant, it got the perfect balance between humour and substance and explosions, just as you would expect from Joss Wheedon. Seriously, go and see it!

In terms of the recent Marvel films (in the Avengers series), for me it goes

Avengers>Iron Man>> Iron Man 2 > Captain America > Thor >> Hulk (well I haven't really watched it, but they spend far too much time talking about gamma rays)

Guess that sums it up eloquently...can't wait until release here...!!

After the awful Transformers 3 and Captain America, I'm pretty hyped for this.

It was SERIOUSLY brilliant. One of my favourite action movies of ALL time and DEFINETLY the best "superhero" movie.

I was in shock as we left the cinema. What made it so sick was all the thoughts you kept having.. Like =
"I CANT BELIEVE WE ARE SEEING THESE GUYS TOGETHER!111!11!"

It was mindblowingly.

EDIT: I was a DC guy, but after this: DC can get lost: Marvel all the way <333.

I'll catch it next week. I can't wait until it comes out in the United States. There promoting the hell out of this movie. You can't turn around,without seeing some kind of ad are some cross-promotion.

I was planning to watch it in the Cinema next week, until I found out they were only showing it in 3D... now I'll just wait for the 2D Blu-Ray version.
