I dunno... look at the deer-in-headlights look on his face when he suddenly remembered he didn't have anything to write.

If price is not an issue and VITA has one of the best (if not the best) launch lineup ever, why does it not sell better?

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Best launch lineup ever is to sell vitas AT LAUNCH. SEriously, it's not that hard to figure out, is it?

You know how when games come out the sales of the consoles go up? That's how launch games work...they don't continue improving sales over time, they need to release NEW games to do that.

Yet its launch number is nothing to write home about though. If price is not an issue, shouldn't we see better launch week/month number?

I thing doing a price cut now is the last idea consoles manufacturer,Is better for Sony to boost sales with other things especially in Japan they can released now colors,Pack, special PSVita, releasing more big game especially Monster Hunter and temporary price reduction.
If all this thing don't work then Sony will be obliged to do an official price cut.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Color packs only work so well, 3DS did one color pack released in Japan while 3DS was 249.99, it didn't have the desired boost that 3DS now gets with Color packs. (Yes I am spelling colors like Americans)

You need software + color packs to be effective. However those that are hurt by the price, will not encouraged by 249.99 even with color.

But it help a bit and the revenus will stay the same,if Sony make a price cut they will a lot of money.

Your logic astounds me.
