I was a constant supporter and player of the uncharted 2 online multiplayer i found it to be one of the best aditions to a series in video gaming, and when the dlc was released I was overjoyed and saddened by the fact that all my hardwork toward possible trophies was in vain as the newest trophies made your current counts null and void. So uncharted 3 comes out and all I can think about is how I'm going to wait and have all the dlc before I do anything.

Now I have most of the dlc and there's no trophies, I've (in my eyes) wasted money and find no enjoyment in the online at all. Fuck you Naughty Dog and fuck the people who constantly campaign to have the importance of trophies and achievments lessened. They MAKE the games in my opinion and add this grand sense of achievment which adds impecable worth to the DLC and the games themselves. I for one believe that it's not too late and I would happily see more money spent for an expansive addition to the trophy set of Uncharted 3, in fact given the sheer amount of DLC I would say the potential for a further 40-60 trophies is there.

But what are your thoughts on the issue?

Well, they gave people what they asked for. People have been pretty adamant about "we hate online trophies". So now, without them, people are free to get their plats without online play.

And on a side note, trophies shouldn't be an issue if you're buying your games to enjoy them. Trophies and achievements aren't the end all, be all of game enjoyment.

This is why I say sometimes developers should stop listening to people. There is always something to complain about and no matter WHAT they do, someone is going to be unhappy regardless.

this, if you were enjoying the online only because the trophies, you probably don't actually enjoy the online and just push yourself through it to get accolades. You should just find a game you can enjoy without getting "praise" in the form of trophies.

I only buy games like that for their adventure. Not their meh online or trophies/achievements.

Most people hate online achievements. You cannot be on the highest level for every online game you own. It's too much grinding. Then you need to factor in the millions of users (one of them being myself) who don't care about online gaming at all.

I think you're just whining for no real reason. Simple. If you think you were cheated because you bought all the DLC (for the sake to get trophies) you should have done research on whether the DLC packs were going to feature separate trophy lists.

Company's are NOT required to offer anything additional. If the lack of additional trophies in Uncharted 3 upsets you, then you clearly don't enjoy the online of the Uncharted games (even though you said in your first sentence that you believe it was one of the best additions to the series). If getting trophies determines your level of enjoyment for a game, you need to find a different past time.

I like getting trophies just like countless other people, but I will never complain about DLC not featuring more trophies to get. Or any future game not even incorporating trophies/achievements for that matter. You might find some supporters to your anger, but not with me.

I don't understand what the big deal is with trophies. I could personally care less about trophies. I mean,what did you do before trophies and achievments? I buy games for the game and not some superfical trophy.
