I do too. Taking LSD to run away from your problems is the stupidest thing one can do. It actually confronts you with your life in an intense way.

I also wouldnt recommend people taking Acid you need to have a healthy personality to process a strong trip in a way that doesnt drive you crazy. 

Its like a magnifying glass that makes all your emotions a hundred times stronger some people cant withstand it and start crying or screaming and end up a mess.

If we can, when you re-quote something, delete a bunch of the previous posts in the quotes so that it doesn't become a huge conversation in one post. not mad or anything just i see that all the time and it makes the thread confusing sometimes (it hasn't happened yet, but sometimes it becomes long chains).

I'm curious about shrooms simply because it seems like a more natural way to stimulate part of the brain, whereas lsd is specifically formulated in an unnatural way, though I understand it is based off a chemical found in nature (other shrooms/poison? I forget).

LSD is semisynthetic made out of a grain fungus. There is no unnatural way to shape chemicals. The chemicals in the nature are shaped by evolution and chemicals in the lab by humans. They do similar things in the brain and are just as dangerous as synthesized chemicals see Cocaine/Morphine both natural chemicals.

Mescaline (Alkaloid from a cactus feels very similar to LSD)

They are all similar from a certain dosage onwards but every trip is different anyway. LSD nowadays is very low dosed compared to the past. Dont underestimate shrooms just because they are nature they can get unbelievably intense if you get good quality. Try what you must but keep in mind that its dangerous.

Yep. I did it when I was younger since I must have been unhappy, unstable, and full of insecurities. That's the only reason to do something like that. Feeling good wouldn't be a factor at all.

Can't blame the young blood for experimenting while they're in the dumps, but I would probably kill myself if I was old and using drugs.

I wasn't in the dumps, but just enjoyed the feeling of getting high.  I don't do anything at all these days.  Not  even drink alcohol.  That's for uhhappy, unstable, and insecure people too.  The only physical pleasure I take part in these days is sex and that has nothing to do with being depressed.  It just feels good when I do it.  

meh I don't like LSD.. trip takes too long 8 -12 hours (not that you notice) .. and then you can't use LSD for a few days cause your body is busy getting the shit out of your system...

Masturbating inbetween VGC browses doesn't technically count as sex.

My point is that when you say that someone gets buzzed because they are depressed that you are making an absurd assumption.
