I skipped this gen almost completely, with the exception of portable consoles and PC. But Wii U is almost bringing me back to my roots! It's looking nice, full of potential.

Animal crossing with the touch screen is a completely different beast altogether too.

3D Mario, with gorgeous graphics and level design.

Metroid - imagine what the touchscreen could do with Samus's visors.

And 2D Mario will seal the deal, as always.

This plus Star Fox.

New WRPG IP rated M for mature and Pegi 18. Anything less and it would seem too familiar for Nintendo. Most of all new IPs with good stories and scripts.

A resident evil game that's more like a 'classic' resident evil game (y'know, before the franchise went all Gears of War on us).
A new Metroid trilogy in the style of prime 1 and 2 (and ignoring the things they did wrong with 3) developed by Retro...(I'd also love to see a new 2d game but think it'd be better on 3ds)
I wont say anything as insulting as a 'real' zelda game cos I just played one of those, but this 'Link to the Past' sequel that seems to be heavily rumoured lately sounds mighty appealing (I'd think it more suited to the 3ds though if it does exist at all).
And, yeah, I'm all for a REAL new Starfox game in hd

Phantasy Star Online

A new Resident Evil. One with a clean image at TV and everything about the status on the UPad which can be used to solve some puzzles (like revelations). Completly new characters and universe, not the same biohazard, and based in a mix of REmake and RE2 with a RE4 point of view.

If only.... :(
