Forums - Nintendo - English trailer for Project Zero/Fatal Frame 2 remake

Official Site: http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/games/wii/project_zero_2_wii_edition_49408.html

No gameplay, but a good trailer anyway.

However, given the accents of the characters, it suggests that NoE, not NoA is handling the voice acting.  Given that recent games that also had this (Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story) had not had an immediate US localisation, does this mean that this game is likely to appear at E3 and perhaps even skip a US release?

Also, I wonder whether the game will include the Japanese voices as well (as Xenoblade Chronicles does), or will just feature English (Last Story), I guess it depends how much space is left on the disc.

I am buying this day 1. And I haven't bought any Wii-games since DKCR, Kirby's Epic Yarn and GoldenEye.

It doesn't seem like NOA wants any non-party games released onthe system in the States though. Idiots. Luckily, I don't live there.

damn, those came out awhile ago, no Xenoblade??

OT NOE has been on fire, NOA not so much. and no having ONE damn retailer carry a game and not even publishing another in the states is "on fire"

RPGs do nothing for me. The last one I tried was FFXIII, and the first 3 hour made me want to throw myself in front of a passing bus.

man i can't wait for this to come out, and get a price drop so i can afford it.

I missed the original Fatal Frame 2, so I may very well get this.

Here's some snippets of gameplay shown so far:

fair enough, but ff13 isnt really a good game to go by, that was a pretty poor JRPG in general. IMHO

I agree, the use of UK voice talent means NoA has no plans to bring this over. Again. F--- them. Importing.

Although if it sells decently in Europe NoA may then deem it fit for NA release - however, considering it's a remake of a horror game and no pure horror game has sold well on any system, let alone one that's a remake of a last gen game on a dying system, the chance of that is remote.

I find the English accents quite distracting here. They were fine, in fact, to me preferrable to US for Xeno, TLS, Pandora but on obivous Japanese characters it just seems out of place.

I sure hope it's released in North America.
