Forums - Sony Discussion - PS Vita: 3 system sellers announced!!!

It's not the same. The PS3 could have a chalkboard. People could point at games, big games. Ones with numbers in their titles. Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII.

And look at how well those games turned out.

Besides, Vita could have a much better chalkboard. Metal Gear Solid 2. Metal Gear Solid 3. Final Fantasy X. Persona 4. And we already know all those games are good, because they were good the first time around!

It's sad, though. In all seriousness, the Vita is a great piece of hardware and everybody should own one......when it gets some amazing games. Too bad nobody is going to create the amazing games until enough customers buy one. And no one is going to buy one unless there are amazing games to play. I don't regret owning a Vita (now mostly being used to play PSP games--I'm thinking of buying Silent Hill Shattered Memories) but I don't like the way its future is looking.

Do it! Great game on Wii, and the PSP version is a really solid port. I imagine it's even better on Vita. Too bad I have the damn UMD.

OT you SOB I was really excited to have a reason to use my Vita now that I'm done with Rayman and Uncharted. Damn you! :)

You've only diminished my interest in the PSV, good job!

But then again sony fans like to overhype everything.

Seriously?

What he said

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Paint Park is available now (in case nobody has posted this yet.)

Isn't that what was said about the PS3? How did that turn out?

Well, I guess you're right. The PS3 survived long enough for help to arrive.  I hope the Vita does the same.  I don't think Sony or the PS3 were ever in the shape that Sony and the Vita are in right now, though.  I'll keep being optimistic, though.

I think Sony is doing a horrendous job marketing the Vita.  The commercials with the guy walking around town trying to look cool are not cutting it.  They suck.  Sony needs to make Vita commercials that show games, games, and more games.  A commercial showing a guy playing Street Fighter x Tekken on the Vita vs a guy playing SFxT on the PS3 with both talking shit to each other via headsets and showcasing identical graphics--that would go a long way.

Big difference is that people knew that '(great) games were cming (like MGS4).

Bah. I was expecting to go for most of this generation without buying a console but now I need to get a PSV right now.

I was hoping something RPGish... sigh...

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Junk, hopefully something swell comes soon.
