Final Fantasy 6 full remake for Wii ( Terra have lost her memory/will during the first part of this masterpiece ).

The latest issue of Nintendo Power features a cover story and 7-page feature on BioWare's role playing game for the Nintendo DS that stars Sega's Sonic. Titled Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, the portable RPG is said to be a stylus-controlled affair a la The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass by NeoGAF member giggas

To me it implies that they already announced the game in the past... but perhaps got canceled in production or put on hold, could be a a remake too. Following RPG's come to mind:

- Raven Blade (Retro Studios) 

- Mother Earth 3 Wii edition

- Pokemon RPG Wii

- Dragon Quest IX goes to the Wii instead of the DS!!!

No Way. Nonsense because DQ 9 developpment is probably almost finished.

The DS sold 21 M in japan and the Wii "only" 5.

(don't forget that famitsu's CEO has predicted that DQIX could sold @ 5 million LTD in japan ! (http://www.cbsgames.com/games/story/10410667) 

So, first, Square should have to wait almost 2 more years before Wii sold @ 20 M.

And, second, DS has already proved that DQ games can sold by millions in japan. Not the Wii (yet)

 

Maybe DQ X, then ?

That would be superb, a RPG from Retro. Though I doubt it. They finished Metroid3 in August and probably only work on 1 title at the time. Though this project cancelled for GC, so could be made a litter faster than usual.

I still think it has to be a really big franchise if they hype it like this.

Mother is not really big outside Japan, DQ9 on Wii is probably not going to happen, Pokemon would be a serious let down for me.

Golden Sun: Camelot recently said they wanted to make it, Chrono: Probably the biggest RPG announcement one can make (except for FF and DQ).

I never played FF6 and im not really into RPGs anymore, but from wehat ive herd about the story of FF6 I'd get that, if thats what it turns out to be..... but then again how unlikely is that?

If they ruin the potential KH3 has by making it Wii exclusive I will be pissed. They should atleast make it like Wii/PS2 exclusive or something. Or make a HD version for the PS3.

I cant help actually thinking it belongs on the Wii though. KH3 is the kiddie RPG, so it belongs on the Wii and Final Fantasy XIII belongs on the PS3.

Maybe FF7 remake is coming to Wii. Cloud's memories are part lost and part corrupted.
Seeing how many remakes DS is getting, Squeenix may want to apply the same formula on Wii.
