Tagged games:

So aperently after my grandparents picked up my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles for me (since I'm away a college), Gamestop sent me an email saying that I had a bunch of loyalty points and that I should spend them. After going through a bunch of useless pages of coupons and crap memorabilia I found one surprising reward a Pushmo download. They also had one for Super Mario 2 but I was so glad that I had enough of these stupid points to get Pushmo. I immediately redeemed it thinking that they would just give me a code for the game similar to how I got codes from Club Nintendo or Amazon. How dead wrong I was. It turns out that they don't give you a code but it is instead a fucking coupon to get the code. Not only that, but the coupon expired by the end of the month. I never been to gamestop here and never knew why until now. The closest one to me is in the next town and it takes 2 buses and over an hour just to get there. I came to the conclusion that I should just redeem this damn coupon before it expires and get it over with.

Once arriving to the store I was immediatly serviced when the store was busy(the second time I think this has ever happened.) Gave the employee the coupon and it took him a while for it to register in the computer but its not that big a deal. I asked him if they had any extra artbooks for Xenoblade since my grandparents didn't recieve it buy they told me that they never got any (sucks again but I'm not pissed.) Got a receipt that had the code on it and he gave me the employee shtick of preordering and crap. Got back on the busses and downloaded the game. I am happy I have this game now, I just beat murals, and I am now interested to look for games on the eshop. Though going through this occurrence of only getting a coupon to go to the store to get a download code instead of just getting the code from them online directly is just fucking stupid.

P.S. and of course I bought i used game: Geometry Wars Galaxies for $4.50

P.P.S. I saw and played a Vita for the first time. Before: mildly interested in buying. After: Make it smaller, fix the button placement, fix those things they call analog nubs, might be interesed when more games are released

P.P.P.S. I got 3 streetpasses :)

That's a normal day for me at my university. Though I didn't  think that I would get that many at the mall.

No, I want it bigger before I buy that thing

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Initial reaction to the analogs can be good or bad. After moderate use, concerns over them will go away. Again with button placement, simply need your hands to adjust. Same goes for those switching from 360 to PS3 or vice versa. You NEED to give your hands time to warm up to get use to the controller, afterwards movements are fluent.

Why would you want it to be smaller? I suppose Go style slide down buttons would allow for a smaller size, if not thicker design, there might even be room for full back touchpad use. The issue would be durability. We might see a model like that in a few years.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Speaking of Xenoblade, how hard might it be to find a copy now that the preorder stock has been run through? Kid Icarus is higher on my list, but if Xenoblade is going to be scarce, i may have to buy it alongside KI and just wait to play it

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I had some P.P.P.S at the end that you might have missed. I said that I got 3 streetpasses. I can easily put my 3DS, cellphone, and tissues in my pocket since I don't wear skin tight jeans so having a smaller version of the Vita would be preferable since I don't carry a murse. I guess that you might be right in that I need to play the Vita more to get adjusted to it ( I only got to play that extreamly short Uncharted demo.) I doubt that they will have a revision of the hardware till 2014 but if one of my friends ever gets one, I'll try to play and see if it gets better. :)

Ugh, I'm having that problem too. >_< I want to save up for the Wii U but I also want Xenoblade! Hopefully they'll get more shipments around the holiday?

They had copies at the Gamestop I went to and actually thought that I wanted to buy it get the artbook lol. KI is extreamly fun but I need to take a break from it and Ryan wants me to play Hotel Dusk. I can totally see Nintendo producing copies of KIU for the next 2-3 years. I think that Xenoblade is going to be hard to get once the Wii U comes out(unless you want a high used price.) Don't pay the ebay prices.
