It's never bothered me. I used to play TF2 with my last girlfriend and she was always miles better than me.
Applaud her at not being too much of a stereotypical female who doesn't know much about gaming... then play some more games... then (If I was old enough) Celebrate her victories over me with HOT SEX.

She can touch my games all she wants... Just don't scratch, break, misplace them. I'd say not loan my stuff out to people, but, that wouldn't be much of a gf if she did do that. As for her being better, that would be awesome...
But, if you have to "lay down the law" for her, then, you obviously don't know her well enough to begin with.
My gf and I often play competitive tetris on my PS3 and I'd say it's 55-45 in my favour, but she often beats me. I just accept defeat.
But of course I picked celebrate with hot sex.

I have come across girls better then me at gaming. The UbiSoft frag dolls kick my ass every year. Their was a girl I was interested in asking out and she was a hardcore gamer and could have kicked my ass, I really wouldn't have cared as long as she didn't gloat and act immaturly.
I have had foster brothers better at FPS games then me. I really liked it loved playing coop campaign and online. I would love to have a girl friend that would make an awesome coop player it would be awesome.
I'm not the best gamer at FPS and some other genres. I just love playing games and I really don't care if a girl is better then me or not. Sharing the passion of gaming would be a turn on.
Now if she was smarter then me and a better leader that would be a deal breaker. I don't have any friends smarter then me. I tried but it just didn't work I am an intellectual alpha male I need to be the smart one everyone turns to. That's just who I am. I have aquitances that are smarter then me, I respect them but couldn't be in a relationship with someone who is actually brainier then me. I'm not saying I'd be into dumb chicks lol just none that could out think me!
