Is this a turn-based strategy game like Civilization?
I've never played any Fire Emblem video game...

It's turn based, but I can't say whether or not it plays exactly like civilization since I've never played that game. Check out some gameplay videos on youtube or somewhere to see if you like it's style.

Thanks

Well, since i'm currently still grinding for Support (only have Virion/Miriel at S support and married status), I'll probably continue to go for the level 20 cap. Also, at what chapter do Master Seals are sold more often?

The port of Regna Ferox definitely has them in store (as in permanently and unlimited) and that's chapter 12.

Thanks, but since that's a bit on the limit for Chrom's marriage chapter, should I use the current seals I have on him so he'll learn all his potential skills? I'm trying to pair him up with Olivia, though I've heard it's rather complicated.

@einsam_dolphin - Sorry, didn't see your reply above Rol's

Chrom only passes Aether to daughters and Rightful King to sons, regardless of what other skills he has.

The determining child of his is Chapter 13 anyways.

Marrying him to Olivia is easy, just marry off Sumia/Sully/FeMU/Marribelle or make sure they haven't gain support with him.  Hopefully by Chapter 11 you have a seed of trust and use it with the couple for maxmized support gain.

Thanks to you and Rol. Well, I've already have Sumia, FeMU and Maribelle taken care of (Sumia/Frederik, FeMU/Donnel and Marribelle/Garus) so that only leaves Sully for me, which I'll probably pair with Ricken.

Wait, how good is the seed of trust? I've never used it, but I thought it only raises bonds to the next support conversation, not all the way up to S instantly.

It doesn't take you up to S instantly. I don't even know if it takes you up to the next Support conversation...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I think it just doubles the support you get for each pair-up kill and support attack/defend.

Hey! I just realized that now I know what Kellam's been getting at. Quite lolzy I must say.

From what I've heard, the easiest way to pair up Chrom with Olivia is to marry Sully, Sumia, Maribelle and your avatar (if it's female) with someone else before chapter 11. This will default Chrom to Olivia.

I found it easier to simply not have any Support Conversations between Chrom and any of the eligible bachelorettes, then have Olivia Dance with Chrom a whole bunch of times until she's clearly had the most Support built up. It's a grind, but less so than marrying off everyone else...

I actually haven't had any trouble marrying people off. Took me less than an hour and a half to pair up all my current characters, Arena Ferox is such a nice place to get fast skirmishes that almost always nets you a support level per pair.

I can pull of a skirmish in less than 4 minutes, get a support level for 4 pairs and repeat for profit.

How can you make a profit when the item to summon enemies costs 4,800 gold on hard?

Whenever I need money I just Reeking Box peaceful village, usually I find a Bullion (M) carrying enemy or two. It's a small profit, but a profit nonetheless. Plus, I also sell excess weapons dropped from enemies since I have a lot of those. I'm sitting on 11K gold right now.

Just got done doing all of Chrom's supports.  Man a lot of saving in other files and then restarting.  Marry Marribele, rush to ch. 13 then go and recruit brady.  Have brady get his A support with Chrom and Lucina, then restart back at ch. 10 and have Chrom marry Sully instaed, ect.  Doing the same for each femlae he can marry.

Man that takes some effort.  Seems like it will take a while to get everyones supports.  I really wish once you saw a kids support once, it filled it in for everyone who it ends up being the exact same thing.

I'm really scared for my Avatar work invovled.  Avatar can marry EVERYONE of opposite sex including kids.  Going to be a very busy time doing all this marrying with Avatar.   It's not so bad getting S support and marrying someone, but then you have to recruit kid and get that up to A support.  Freaking A.  Many hours.  Does Nintendo have the whole how many hours you played "X" game on the 3DS, like it does for the Wii?  Be interseting to see how many hours I have in this game.  HEck be neat to see them release something showing how many hours on average a person played this game.
