I remember this crazily funny game where you played as 4 characters that you could switch between ingame, I remember there was one character with a axe.

Vague ftw!

Can you remember what console it was on? :p

Not really tbh... It was def in between SNES and N64 era I remember. :)

Are you sure it was 4 characters and not 3

That what i thought of given his description of the game .

I remember this zombie game on the Dreamcast, which was third person and you pick up weapons and what not, like hatchets. Maybe some sort of Resident Evil?

Nightmare Creatures 2

I remember this game on the Genesis where you played as a Robot with a jetpack in a pretty awesome sidescroller. It was really fun, and it's only of the few sidescrollers I love other then DKC. It's A LOT like Mega Man X except a little slower paced and your a robot, and you could transform into a motorcycle, and actually turn into both and separate. Controls were spot on, but the game is a bit short.

Took me forever to find out the games name, and I eventually just saw it at a retro store or a garage sale. It has a very unique cover, the game is called Ranger X and it's a damn good Genesis exclusive to own.

This happened to me a while ago but THANKFULLY I remembered one of the cheat codes I used to type into the game and I found it based on that.

Would've driven me CRAZY if I didn't get it (asked around all the forums I knew lol)

Crazy enough to make you go insane, get put into a mental institute, then kill yourself, then the people who run it found your dead body when they just realised you weren't insane and they were going to set you free but you already killed yourself?

As a matter of fact, YES!

Um... get better soon?

THANK YOU I WILL

You think you're cool for setting the reader up like this? Telling him/her your interesting story about the game and then NOT giving the title? I know you know the reader is interested in what the game is, but you purposely refuse to not give the title. Why? Just to tick us all off?!?! That make you feel good about yourself? That help you sleep at night? knowing you had someone read your post, sucked into your story about some mysterious game only to have you NOT GIVE THE GODDAMN TITLE! I FUCKING HATE YOU!!!!!

EDIT: you know what, I'm sorry about that. I just get a little ticked off when things like this happen. And you may have given the title later in the thread, but I just had to say this to let off some steam. I'm really sorry though.

lol I didn't think anyone actually cared

The game was called "Metal Knight", a really old real-time strategy game with robots, it had a nice feature where you'd choose the parts to assemble your units (mix and match different parts for different results)

The cheat code that I remembird was "richbird", a code for money in the game

derp

There's this one game where you play a character who's living the good life. He sleeps with a different girl every day. He lived in a HUGE mansion with like thirty different exotic cars. He makes an enormous amount of money (like 5mil an hour) while doing nothing. He has a close group of loyal friends whom treats him like a king. This dude was in shape, attractive, smart, rich and powerful. He ain't take no shit from nobody. There wasn't really an objective to the game. Just play and watch what it's like to be perfect. Living LIKE A BOSS! He even...

...oh wait...

*puts on sunglasses*

That's my actual life.

No, you're mistaken! It's actually this one:

:P

Don't go all caps lock crazy on me!

Okay... check this out... This is going to be a hard one, because... I was at best, 2 years old, or younger..

Anyway, it's an atari game... No, I didn't actually play it, I watched my brother and dad play it because, well... Like I said, at the oldest, I was probably 2...

I know this game is for atari, because I remember the rainbow atari boot-up screen.... with the all black background
I think it was a car racer from an over-head bird's eye view..

But, you know what? I have another...

This one's a racer too... Monster trucks this time... On sega genesis. I think it was an EA game. The tracks were all made of dirt, the entire track could be seen in one screen, so, the trucks were tiny...

Luckily, most of the genesis games I've played in the past, I own.

I think the truck racing game was Super Off Road.  I'll try to find something to back me up.  There were a bunch of games in this thread that I knew but somebody beat me to them.  I'm just grasping with this one, though.  That racing game could be anything.

Right...  It's been a good 15 years since I'd seen this game, at least...  Forgot just how catchy the music was..  Going to have to add this to my wishlist.
