Wow.. in the middle east they get snow, while here in southern ontario the grass couldn't be greener.

stof where is the proof we humans are heating up the earth. If what ive been told is true the temp rises are based in large populated areas like new york and washington. the smaller country towns and in rural areas seem to be reducing or staying the same temperature. the reason for this is because large cities have lots of concrete and bricks and roads which hold temperatures alot more then dirt and sand. therefore the temp rises.

back on subject I live in australia and the temps here have been very hot. 42.5c on thursday(about 108 in your numbers) we could do with some snow. would melt in like 2 seconds though

Er, "holding" temperature =/= increasing temperature. Cities are massive hot spots mostly because humans do lots of stuff that generates heat.

I know that but its still hot. But it is normal we get about 10-12 days each summer over 40. Wish I was in alaska or somewhere like that. Might need to take a holiday....

I agree completely. However, I do give credit to the media for their successful effort to spin this problem to the point where people can actually argue that it isn't even happening. Chalk one up to misinforming the public for the betterment of industrial corporations and their profit margins.
