Hello everybody,

I will be getting a PS3 very soon and I'm a huge fan of JRPGS. Can you guys give me recommendations for games? It doesn't even have to be JRPG, but please no shooters. Also, I'm a huge Tales of fan so you don't need to recommend Tales of Graces f since I'll be getting it anyway (actually the main reason for the PS3). Please don't mention Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean IV, or Final Fantasy XIII either as I have the Xbox 360 versions.

I played Disgaea 3 and found it charming, very fun, and very deep and engaging, though you might not like its graphics. It's a turn based strategy RPG, sort of similar to Fire Emblem. I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of the genre and like Japanese games

I wish I had more for you but I'm kind of in the same situation lol

EDIT: Just saw that Disgaea 4 is out, I'd recommend checking it out cuz it has slightly improved graphics over its predecessor

Atelier Series (give it a shot, it's a bit strange but I love how the story is so personal and the item synthesis focused

Disgaea 3,4 if you're alright with a grid based SRPG, and Valkyria Chronicles regardless of how much you like/dislike strategy games.

And going even further you should check out Demon's Souls and then Dark Souls.  

Well you can download Final Fantasy 5-9 right now on the PS store, and they are remastering 10 at the moment. Ni No Kuni also looks awesome (based solely on the fact that studio Ghibli is helping with it)

Final Fantasy XIII 2; It is a great game and it has great graphics. (Of course that is if you don't own number two yet.)
Ni No Kuni And The White Witch; (I think that is the name) Is well reviewed and seems to be quite a great game.
Tales of Graces F; Just came out and highly anticipated by the Tales fans.
Tales of Xilia; if you don't mind importing.
Valkyria Chronicles; great looking game and held in high regard by the people who have played and liked it.

Get skyrim and change the language setting to Japanese.... Would that make it a JRPG?

I'll also get Final Fantasy XIII-2 probably, and Ni No Kuni is going to happen as well, but as it has been noted, it was delayed.
