Well a popular analyst company in Japan has just downgrade Nintendo based on some major points. I will only post the link due to me being on a phone. According to the analyst the WiiU will not be superior to the 360 the hardware will be weaker then last generation hardware confirming the recent rumors well at least he says he's confirming them. But his biggest reason is he claims that Activision is boycotting the WiiU. Meaning no Activision games will appear on it, something that would contradict other rumors and hints. His firm goes on to claim that Konami is also going to avoid WiiU as much as possible. The firm believes Nintendo will have one year on the market before being slaughtered by its competitors. They claim Apples iOS devices will be more powerful then WiiU and with four screen they will make WiiU outdated. The analyst claims Nintendo's only chance at survival is to develop for iOS and Android devices.

So what do you think is this analyst a nut job? Or might he actually know something we don't, I hate to fan the flames But this is the second guy well group of guys supporting the asinine claim that WiiU will actually be weaker then 360. He is going further by claiming no Activision support and Konami avoidance. If Activision chooses to forgo supporting WiiU as does Konami and WiiU is indeed inferior to 360 does this analyst have a point?

Biggest thing is Activision confirmed support last year and several times since. It wouldn't make any sense for them to not support WiiU even if it was inferior to 360. This analyst seems like a butt job. None the less the idea of would Nintendo succeed with an Activision boycott and weaker power to the 360 is an interesting one!

well his analysis is totally nutty but if his information is correct then the Wii U could be in trouble. No Activision or Konami games at this point would be a major hit. And could be a sign that Nintendo's attempts to court 3rd party devs have failed.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Doesn't seem likely to me. Even Wii got support from activision. Whether it'll get the same games that PS4/nextbox gets or lesser ports depends on the hardware capabilities.

Deja vu 2006.

I call bull the WiiU will have Activision support because Skylanders is the most successfull on Nintendo hardware.

Also considering that Activision only 1 other non blizzard franchise that sells (cod), Activision not supporting the WiiU would be irrelevent anyway.

More impressed by the length of your post via your phone as opposed to the ridiculous content of the article.

Panama read any of my recent posts they are all as big as I can go on my phone without screwing up. Typing on the phone is difficult and I find it nearly impossible to express myself in less then two to three paragraphs. I think this is asinine and absurd but I thought the same thing when rumors surfaced that Wii would only be 1.5x the power of the Xbox. It is hard to know what Nintendo is thinking, they pulled that off with Wii though they did so barely the system began bottoming out in 2011 and is in desperate need of replacement this year. If WiiU is inferior to 360 I cannot see Nintendo not taking a massive hit and losing this next generation. A tablet could not save WiiU it would need a bigger innovation then motion controls and controller free gaming. Nintendo would need to stun us beyond belief to make consumers choose a WiiU over a 360 with Kinect or a PS3 if your a casual gamer or if your a hardcore NextBox or PS4. If NextBox has the Kinect 2.0 and tablet controller rumored. Then Nintendo would Ben competing with four game consoles not two. Then throw in iOS devices that could out perform WiiU and do everything WiiU can, Nintendo would be taking Apple head on. Nintendo could not possibly come out of the next generation unscathed let alone victorious!

Activision not going totally multiplat ? unlikely.

They even supported the Wii with COD releases, it's likely they will do the same for Wii U.
