So, I came from the cinema after watching the Winnie the Pooh movie.
It made me cry. No one, not two, but many times during the movie. Tears were coming from my eyes for the first time in years.

This movie is for grumpy adults like me.

I keep hearing this is really good. Can you say a bit about what brought tears? Memories or just happy sad moments?

Saw Venom.
Saw Deadpool 2 again on demand. Still very entertaining. Ant Man and the wasp on demand, also entertaining.

Just watched Nightmare on Elmstreet and Original Halloween again. Lol, so corny.

I just watched the new Halloween, loved it. It was easily better than the Rob Zombie Halloween movies and the retconned sequels to the original, though I don't like how Laurie and Michael are no longer siblings, it kinda lessens the whole ordeal with Michael Myers. I must say: for a 70-year-old man, he can still take and give hits like a champ!

I also just finished The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest you do, it's a great series full of surprises and suspenseful moments. I'm in the middle of binge-watching season 3 of DareDevil, which I'm also really enjoying. It starts slow, but when it picks up, it really hits it out of the park. I'm currently on E4 and I'm really interested to see where this goes now that Wilson Fisk/Kingpin is out of prison.

Saw the new Halloween and I liked it. Never indulged myself in this franchise before so I can't compare to the old films but it wasn't too scary. A lot of wasted material but I had fun. The little black boy was definitely my favorite character. The rest were just idiots.

Never gave the Rob Zombie ones a chance. Gory violence was never my thing, add horror in that as I love movies like predator, but Horror, gory violence is something I do not care for.

Also not sibling! Impossible.

I just saw Pet Semetary, it was, eh, alright, I guess. The first 2 acts were kinda slow, but when it hits the third act, it gets "interesting", the ending was kinda stupid, though. The characters did lack depth, but everyone did a fine job acting except the girl who played Ellie, she was terrible.

Keep in mind, I've never read the book (yeah, shoot me), so I never drew any comparisons to the source material, though I heard they completely wasted it.

I'm kinda wanting to see Brightburn. It's the only movie really on my radar atm.

Chinese food for breakfast

I started to watch the second season of The OA. Unfortunately my internet couldn't even sustain the SD version of Netflix, never mind.

I'm still following Star Trek Discovery although it doesn't make any sense and is less fun than re-runs of Voyager. The Orville had some great episodes.

Movie wise, I haven't watched a new movie in a long time. Too busy racing. Maybe I have seen a new movie as I usually have discovery or space channel on while racing and they run movies now in the weekend. I probably saw a few new superhero movies that way, but they all look the same to me lol. Snowpiercer was nice to see again.

I'm interested in this because I like me some horror films. Hey, it's got James Gunn directing, so I have hopes for this one. Please don't fuck it up.
