My god, the texture work is phenominal!  And the lighting!  Holy crap this is my new desktop wallpaper.

Hmmm, while the quality of the artwork for the boxart is great, I do wish it was a different picture. The protagonist is never really the main focus of Bioshock; the setting and its denizens are. If they were going to focus on a character like that for the boxart they should have gone with Elizabeth or the Songbird (or perhaps both, due to their connection).

Not terrible, but it definitely could have been a much better cover, IMO.

putting a character that you may never see ingame on the box does seem a tad odd...

Definitely not a great box art, but the game looks too good to care much for that (even though I love having great looking boxes), but they really should have included Elizabeth on the box in some way, shape, or form. I imagine she'll become an icon of the game, if she hasn't already.
