If I get to choose between better game play and better graphics I will go with better game play as it is more important but when we can have both of course I would like that more.

sony and microsoft fans are said to generally show more interest in specs, power, graphics etc and are ( or were ) looked down on by some nintendo fans for that... wouldn't you agree?

but from what i'm seeing nintendo fans aren't so different after all

So wild speculation is now a direct interview with a wii u third party dev now??? These guys are actually working with the wii u at the moment so I would believe what Vigil have to say more than the pr bull we hear from Nintendo/sony and Microsoft the whole time.

His words leave room for many speculation. At the bottom he only wanted to say that the Wii U version of darksiders don't get a graphical update and he obviously don't know much about tech. If some guy said in an interview that the Xbox360 is only as powerful als Xbox1, everyone would say that is hilarious, but because we don't know the exact Wii U specifications some people consider to believe everything from every side. And news about the high and low Wii U tech attracts reader.

That the Wii U is only as powerfull as PS360 is nonsense. Everyone who saw the last years E3 demos must know that: The garden-demo shows 720p on TV and at least 480p on tablet simultaneously. PS360 are not nearly capable of that.

I'm pretty sure Sony fans didn't care that the N64 was much more powerful than the PS1, and that the GameCube and Xbox were more powerful than the PS2. According to your logic, didn't they suddenly care about power when the PS3 was relatively powerful? Didn't they look down on the Wii?

Well, this is awkward.

not really. Did you honestly trust what was said in your thread when every other thread says differently? Nintendo is turning over a new leaf.

Of course not. I was obviously joking.

This looks very credible. THQ Employee has never been one to lie.

Besides, I don't know why everyone got so worked up about the comment that Wii U is on par with current gen consoles. Marvin Donald is just the director of Darksiders. It's not like he would know anything about the specs of a platform they're working on or anything.

imo there wasn't as large a disparity ( from what i experienced ) between the ps1 and n64 or the ps2 and the gamecube as there has been between the wii and ps3 in terms of visuals...

so i'm not sure i agree with this point "didn't they suddenly care about power when the PS3 was relatively powerful?"

but i do agree with this point "Didn't they look down on the Wii"

but regardless, i've generally only seen nintendo fans insult others by calling them stuff like "graphics whores" and push the argument that power, graphics etc don''t matter and i'm just making the point that for me its ironic what i'm seeing now
