i don't mind ads, but yes. those audio ads are so annoying!!!!! it just depends on VGchart really... do they want to turn users away or not

What!?! my thread on this topic got locked but this one doesn't? If I was the type to swear I'd say "fuck you mods". But I'm not, so I won't. And this thread has only been up a few hours, so it may yet get locked: can't piss off the advertisers you know.

Oddly enough though, the day after I posted that doomed thread: no more auto-play video ads. Funny that. And I didn't install any adblockers or anything.

This ads really starting to piss me of. If i want those ad blocker i must install google chrome first than install taht ad blocker and hopefully it work. I personally have a internet modem and only 3 GB of use. So those ads illuminate my internet value really fast. So please vg charts, Stop this shitty tv ads.

There are ad block's for other browsers as well, just so you know.

Ads with audio on any site simply prompts me to close the tab/window and that's generally how I respond to them. We could at least be subject to less commercials and ads as logged in members, seeing as how most of the income will come from visitors and guests anyhow.

I first discover what the ad is promoting, then make sure never to support the product, then close the tab. Makes my visits to VGChartz a burden.

I think the worse are the mouse-over ones... it comes up too unsuspectingly and covers the text you actually want to read. Haven't seen those on this site for a lil while though
