How much weight are we talking about and what kind of lifts?

I don't know for certain, but I've seen him benchpress between 5-7 reps of 225 pounds.

That may be impressive but remember that technique is the most important aspect of a good strike, followed by your speed, then your muscle strength. As I said, practice your strikes to improve your technique and increase your speed. When I say practice, I mean throw the strike properly thousands of times in the coming days. Make sure your form is correct, having a trained fighter to instruct you ideal but you may have to settle for online videos with such short notice. Be careful not to strain yourself beforehand. Again, good luck with the fight.

LMFAO. Listen to the ninja.

But for real if you gonna fight just listen to superchunk. Stick and move.

Funny or not I speak the truth. Technique is vital, followed by speed then strength. This is the foundation of a proper strike. One well placed, properly executed strike can defeat anybody. A 150 pound man could knock out Mike Tyson cold with a single elbow to the forehead. Hell, he could kill him actually.

Im not doubting the technique aspect. I just thought your avatar+statement=hilarity.

Ninjas are bad ass. Love it.

No nut shots. You have another idea for getting out of headlocks?

How big is he, exactly, and how strong are you? Do you think you can lift him? If you can lift the guy, a headlock is a total sucker hold.

I already listed what I can benchpress. How big is he? Hmm.. He's about 240-250ish. Can I lift him? Well, I squat 225 for 10 to 15 reps regularly for track practise. I don't know how that will translate to a fight though.

just curious, how did you guys decided to fight? why not fight on that spot?

Well, we had the argument at school and there's a no fight policy there so we couldn't fight or else we would be expelled. And for the rest of the week, I have track practise, so I would be too tired to fight him. So we agreed to fight on the weekend when we were out of school.

I kinda already knew deep down that it would be hard to keep my distance. what's the best method for getting him down. Going for the legs? The waist? Going for a sweep? Pull him towards me, get out the way and extend my leg in front of him?

Oh and I know he's slow. I've seen him run. I don't know if his punches are slow though. We'll see.

well this sounds bad, but you have to wait untill he makes his move.. you'll have to catch his attack and use his velocity and kinetic energy to extend his movement making him to go faster then he wanted making it easier for you to trip him..
I don't think you can outmatch him in a straight fist fight so by using his kinetic movement you'll get the upper hand.

Ow yeah when you punch keep your fist in a straight line, don't let your index and middle finger stick out.. don't throw a punch with your elbow completly straight.. there has to be a small bend in it and retract fast after you hit your target.. many people punch wrong and only hurt themself..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Yeah, I don't know. If he were closer to your size, you could just feed him your head for a headlock and then throw him on his noggin. I've never seen anyone not go for it. But if you don't know that you can lift him, then that's probably not something you want to try.

big weight difference. 100lb is a lot in fighting. your punches will not be very significant to his body since he weighs alot more than you. what i recommend is you need to kick, not punch. go for his legs and do leg kicks. kick his leg and pull out, and do that multiple times to make him feel pain on his legs. you should not go f or his body. dont hit his neck or face, unless it is really necessary since he can counter you because arms are shorter than legs. you should watch out for a take down. he can charge you hard and slam you on the ground and god know what he will do. he can kick your face or throw punches here and there and you are done due to the size difference. street fight can be very different from UFC. use your elbow too if you can.

After kicking his legs long enough, how do I finish the fight? Will I have to get him down, or will the leg pain make him yield?
