That's true. Eath doesn't have resources to even support current world population if everyone would live same way as average american or european.

After WW2 Western democracies flourished: corporations were paying taxes, the middle and working classes had well paying jobs that allowed for vibrant societies. For the last thirty years all of the profits from business have been transferred to a wealthy 1% who pay no taxes while the broader populations have been marginalized and impoverished with wages leveled and job security removed.

Europe is starting a movement to the right, with an clear agenda of closing the borders to new immigrants. Merkel said, not long ago, that multiculturalism has failed as a political path. There's a growing antagonism against immigrants and that's what I want to discuss. I've never said that Europe doesn't have immigrants. If that was the case, there wouldn't be a problem in the first place.

To Christor:  why don't you try and open the doors to immigrants closer to the european culture, like South and Central America. The main problem here, I reckon, is the unwilliness of both sides to integrate. Most immigrants are so allien towards the new culture that they create a country inside a country, which is also bad, since it prevents the new group to profit from the culture that produce the european society in the first place.

You must be misunderstanding, I have no problems with other cultures. Afterall, I do play video games (as well as eat both kinds of food you mentioned). However, there's a difference between having other cultures alongside your own, than to not have your own culture. Also, you should read up on Nazis, you clearly have no idea who they were.

And yeah, you do know how much the Japanese hate foreigners, right? I wish you luck if you're thinking of moving there, lord knows you will need it.

I beleive when Merkel said multicultarism failed she meant that Europe had to do a better job of integrating immigrants into Europeon culture.

Multiculturalism has failed in particular where migrants who can not speak a word of the language and more than likely end up in ghettos and defendant upon welfare. In Europe up to 50% of all Muslims are on welfare. Muslims in Europe have failed to integrate with Europe due to thei inabaility to fit into mainstream society and their inabaility to accept the law of their nation.

It would work out a lot better if government policies helped to integrate migrants into mainstream society. The inability of migrants mixing into society results in fear, hatred, intimidation and racism from the mainstream society.  Measures need to be taken to ensure the new migrants fit into society and are accepted by mainstream society.
