Forums - Sony Discussion - Starhawk: the hidden gem - Official thread

Im usually all over the Sony exclusives, downloaded the demo for twisted metal and thought it was bad. Starhawk looks kinda cool but I dont think I want to have to learn and try and master yet another online MP experience. I'm all MP shooter worn out.

5 days til launch!!!

Day-one purchaser: feel free to add me as a friend.

I'm pretty hyped for this game, I did love the beta. With that said, I'm not going to pre-order or buy it at launch, gonna wait a while and let everything level itself out - the Twisted Metal matchmaking fiasco made me a bit wary of buying things at launch.

With all that said, I really am looking forward to it. I hope there will be a decent community, although with the complete lack of advertising I've seen for it I'm guessing it's gonna be pretty small.

I understand that!  I was stuck in the overall Twisted Metal fiasco as a day-one purchaser...  I think that was an ultimate low, that cannot be achieve again.

I have lived as a warrior. I have died as a god. Having suffered the ultimate sacrifice, I have been denied release. I...I will defeat Olympus. I will have my revenge

Great IGN one!

So, I played a little bit of SP. It really looks like a big fancy tutorial but it's still enjoyable. Later tonight i'm going multi: I'll get my ass kicks I think...

Jesus fuck, excuse my language but I'm tired of video reviews being structured like this: Spend 90% talking about the campaign, take the last minute or two to mention the multiplayer.

I've been trying to get some tidbits of info on the full game but that doesn't seem possible with every reviewer thinking it's a campaign-focused game.
