Yeah sure, but it's likely this spam war is already over. Despite the new gen of spammers hitting incredible post counts and expanding the off-topic thread audience, the fact is, these new spammers won't ever receive 50% spam share. The old kings of spamming nonsense will continue to post....despite the fewer posts per day, there is no way the next gen can outpost last gen. PERIOD

Darth and Soriku both had over 20 posts per day. Just try to imagine what that's like to consistently post 20 times per day.
Of course, maybe it isn't entirely accurate to call these guys spammers.

There is some kind of correlation with post count and profile view, but I wouldn't take it too much into consideration as snesboy has a 1.8 to 1 ratio. I think a good rule of thumb is that if you are affiliated with Nintendo, you will likely have a good view ratio since the casual crowd tends to use more of the expanded features such as wall posting.

It's also safe to say that anyone over 15000 posts (words of wisdom 15003) has no life.

Well, I remember 10,000 posts was some kind of like reward or change in name or title or something, but not so much anymore.

Anyway, the people we have in the 30k area are only really 4 posters.

Soriku, who used the forums like his own personal text messenger detailing us of anything he was doing in a game.

Darth, who believed quite inaccurately that post count would warrant him mod status.

Kasz, who is simply doing anti-establishment trolls programmed into his typing excercises. If you notice, you'll see that each of his posts take about 60 seconds to write at 92 words per minute (Don't bother looking, I've done the math, it's correct). Shocking!

and CGI, who is actually trapped in a matrix like environment, and thinks we are actually people in the real world talking to him. The problem is we end up seeing his every thought, annnnnd, well it gets rather monotonous as he gushes over new quantic dream games.

Anyway, the posts per day statistic is the most interesting. I think in my heydays I was hovering around 14.90 posts per day. I just happen to be a guy who has been on VGC for a long time and posted on a consistent basis. If I recall correctly my post counts at my yearly anniversaries were roughly 5k, 11k, 15.5k, 20k and 25k, respectively.

If you look at other people on this list, most of them have a higher posts per day number than me. In some cases it's really frightening when you take into account that they have been absent/as good as absent for quite a long time now.

And you, young fella, stand at 23 posts per day.

I've really come out of nowhere. XD I used to be around 10 posts per day on average. It started going up for "some reason." I was overshadowed by BasilZero for awhile but he hasn't been very active lately so it's not as bad as it used to be. (Basil joins 1 day before me and has near 32 posts per day and then I join on the 11th and have 10 - 12 fluxuating posts per day.)
