Forums - Nintendo Discussion - So Jim Sterling reviews Kid Icarus

And you are posting this bad written review (seems to be the only review with a bad score) because? You are Jim Sterling and want clicks?

Woah! Don't get so defensive dude.  It's just a review and he has some valid criticisms and explains what he likes and what he doesn't.

A review is just one mans opinion. Don't take it so personally.

Who is this Sterling guy and why should I listen to him?

He is a professional troll of a videogame journalist, and you should listen to him becuase he's loud, doesn't take anything seriously, and has a funny accent!

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

I just realized Jim also gave Mario Kart 7 a 5/10 as well... so Pit is in pretty good company.

This is one of his fine reviews? I've never heard of him so I really don't know.
I've herd thought that some places are saying the controls render the game almost un playable. This could be a big thing that discourages sales and good scores. IGN obviously needed to make something up to not look like total stupid people after that Ninja Gaiden Review so I guess they chose this game to make up for it.

The criticisms levied against Ninja Gaiden 3 in IGN's review seem perfectly valid to me even if the score was too low. Did you play Ninja Giaden 3 and come to the conclusion that their perceived flaws were actually absent?

No, have you played it? By the many gameplay and graphics videos I've seen some of their remarks could have easily been written off. The graphics look perfectly fine and the gameplay looks quite sharp.

I saw this earlier. Shame...

...but he gave FF13 and Sonic Colours a 4 also. And Famitsu gave it 40, ONM 90% and IGN 8.5...mixed feelings.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

If it's just the one review like this, consider it an outlier. If several reviews give a score like this then consider this as amongst the overall reception of the game.

It's Sterling what did you expect. But honestly this game never looked like 90+ to me. It's still getting decent scores.
