I don't think I'd want to wear Pony stuff in public. At least not around people I know. My parents would take it the wrong way.

But I have told a friend that if she could find some Rainbow Dash socks in my size, I'll wear them.

I'd write up what happened with my parents but it's exactly what you're thinking.

I already have one MLP shirt that I've worn into public a couple of times. It even got me a date :)

I also wore it today and a girl in my class described it as "the best shirt ever!"

Haha, that's pretty awesome :P

Explain the story!

Question of the Week! Who's your favourite pony?

It's difficult to say for me, I think it's probably Rainbow Dash :)

Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie

I'll have to think on this one...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

@Soleron: That's rough. I'd like to think my parents wouldn't care, but I would rather not end up having them decide I need counseling or something.

@TJ: Nice shirt. I didn't think that wearing an MLP shirt would get a guy a date, but hey. Shows what I know.

@radish: Well, I like Daring Do quite a lot... but she isn't my favourite because she's only in one episode. I'm torn between Twilight and Pinkie. Both are awesome, but I don't know who is more awesome. Then Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and then AJ and Rarity. I hate picking one over another though. They're all good.

Derpy.

Love and tolerate.

Explain the story!

- Repeatedly asked if I was gay (I'm not)
- Every time a cartoon came on, no matter how small ages it was aimed at, they would call me and say, "Are you watching this?"
- Told me I needed to stop liking it if I wanted to be accepted by others

None of those are so terrible, it's just their attitude towards me completely changed after I brought it up.

That's why you ease them into it by continuing to watch Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon through your adolescence and into adulthood (while expanding your repetoire to shows better-targeted at your demographic). Worked well enough for me, and neither my parents nor my aunt, uncle, or cousins batted an eye when i came out as a brony this past Thanksgiving.
