It has just been announced that Jesper Kyd will be scoring Undead Labs XBLA title ‘Class3′.Kyd who is known for scoring games like Hitman and Assassin’s Creed, has the ability to really do it service to a still widely unknown title.

The first time I ever heard Ave Maria was in Hitman: Blood Money and I thought it was incredible, so much that I downloaded his version immediately. Jesper Kyd definitely has the ability to complement the rest of the title and could be responsible for really giving players a full experience.

For those of you who don’t know, ‘Class3′ is an arcade title that will precede an eventual zombie MMO for the Xbox 360. ‘Class3′ will showcase the gameplay and design that the MMO will have, but on a smaller scale. The arcade game will allow Undead Labs to do things like receive feedback to make the MMO better, build up hype, and most importantly in my eyes – get a strong Microsoft backing.

This could easily be the most off the radar title in development that is solely for Microsoft, and getting a famous composer like Jesper Kyd who has worked on AAA titles and is now going to be doing an arcade game, there must be a lot of faith in Undead Labs and their future.

Definitely check out this video of very early gameplay of the title and tell me you don’t see the potential for this game

Too bad I'll have to wait for Class4 on PS3 PC, no 360 :(

well then your going to need to buy one because class 4 the full mmo  microsoft publishing also the whole franchise so yea sucks for you

I just bought a VITA and I'm saving for a new PC, so I can't afford a 360. Microsoft doesn't own the franchise so it's not certain that Class4 will be exclusive to Xbox 360. Though I doubt it will come to PS3, I think it will probably be ported to PC after it comes out on 360 first. 

To be honest I'd much rather have this game on next-gen systems. The scale Class4 is aiming for is immense, and I'm not sure current consoles will do it justice.

Err... I wasn't arguing... Why are you so hostile? 

Don't worry, I've read plenty of stuff on their website about the exclusivity deal with Microsoft :)

I think it will come to PC eventually if the game is succcessful as Microsoft obviously has a lot invested in PC gaming, Undead Labs will be able to put it out to more people and it would make them both a lot more money. It's beneficial for both Undead Labs and Microsoft, so as long as Class3 is successful, Class4 will probably come out for PC. If you want an example of this happening look at Alan Wake :)

I explained my reasoning in another post:

undead labs only want a console mmo they dont care for pc even tho he an industry vet
