this story has been all over the place, in addition to the whole Paramount "escape clause" thing.

 these rumors are getting to be a bit insane... What do you all think about this? Will it happen?

I posted this in another topic but them not renewing their contract or hesitating shows that HD-DVD will fail.

Paramount/Universal will deny this until the day that they ready to do it. It will happen, just a matter of timing the announcement.

Doesn't matter at this point regardless.

 I said rumors, as in the rumors are getting insane. I never said it was true, just that since WB left HD DVD, there have been all kinds of far-fetched rumors on the net.

HD-DVD is dead!
Oh well I was rooting for Blu-Ray anyways.

Blu-ray sales will increase, and sony will make a huge profit and increases as years go on.

if its true HD-DVD will suffer a huge blow
