another victory for ps3  and it seems that the console has a great potential to reach even higher landmark sales

where ps3 will likely end 80,90 or 100 milllions ?

I think it has potential to reach 80 at the very very bitter end.

80 probably - But who knows
Even the PS2 is still selling and with a pricecut they could boost sales again.
It will surely finish before the 360 but not while these consoles are still "current Gen"

Nintendo is doomed.

I've always felt from the start that it would reach 100 million in the end. No point on changing my mind now.

very good...so the next and i would guess last station for PS3 is surpassing X360 in 2013...

lets see what legs PS3 can pull off after 2014...Ps2 is still selling so the PS3 could still sell in 2016/2017...

It should reach around 80 million along with the 360, far more than anyone expected for the 360 (and the PS3, midway through this generation). All in all, not too shabby for 3rd place.

Can't find the thread, but I remember when people thought it would never hit 20M lifetime.
