In fact I posted it...
Your post:
"In addition the Wii can have games developed for it far more quickly and cheaply because a far smaller number of pixels are being manipulated"
My post:
"Sorry but no, the devs are not tie to the number of pixels in this way, is cheaper to develop a game for the Wii beacuse they are using the same technology of the GC, the only changes are the control interface, they are not introducing a new arquitecture, thats why is cheaper to develop for the Wii, because they are using a well know API... "
Lets try to remember the claims about the devs about the PS3 "too hard and is not cheap" , the 360 "is like a PC, so is good"... so why my post is wrong, since I state the obvious, Nintendo, didn't develop a new tech just for the Wii they keep the base of the GC, the api remains the same, they only add the Wiimote feature, thats why is cheaper to develop for the Wii...
In fact I remember somebody from Nintendo (I think i was Miyamoto) saying something like "Devs can use the DevKits from the GC to make games for the wii",yeap thats why I think and sustain the reason for the low cost of the Wii development kits...
