Post CoD 4 call of duty. I'm not really a huge online gamer and after CoD 4 (which is a classic) these games have had pretty dire campaigns. They're just so boring, mercifully they're also really short.

Pokemon - I love Pokemon. I still play the new versions. However what has fundamentally changed in the game since Gold/Silver? Not much.

I'd say Final Fantasy but recent FF games have gotten the criticism they deserve so they're not really overrated.

Also @OP - did you just claim a game is overrated solely because it sells well without ever playing it? You can't really make that sort of claim without having given it a go...

Gran Turismo ;)

Halo sells well because it is of such high quality. Halo Wars is the best RTS game on consoles and the rest are all some of the best and most highly rated FPS games on any platform. You might think they are overrated, but to those of us that enjoy the games they are not.

RTS on console is a joke, seriously, don't ever try to defend an RTS on console, you look like a fool.

As for the Uncharted comment, the story is why most played I think.. It wasn't so much the gameplay for me... The game was like watching a movie the entire time.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

inFamous.

I saw all the recommendations online. I bought it. It was 'meh'. Then I saw how everyone praised 2 and they said it improved the original so much. I thought 'if it's such an improvement why not give it a shot? I bought it. It was 'meh' all over again, with the added pain that it was more of the same 'meh'.

I also disliked BioShock, but that's probably because I dislike shooters. I heard how BioShock was so much more than a shooter with an amazing atmosphere and story, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It was all 'meh', including the 'meh' story twist.

GTA 4 was so 'meh' that words (namely the word 'meh') can't describe it. But as a series it's amazing and I do hope 5 is all 4 should've been.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

What's he trolling? I agree with everything he said. Bioshock = over rated. GTA = over rated. ME = over rated.

A. Halo Wars is a very good RTS and does in fact work well with a controller.

B. Don't be so general when being stating the apsolute.

C. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." - Ben Franklin

D. I didn't say anything about Uncharted so you must be talking to someone else.

Call of Duty
Fable
Elder Scrolls
Mario

Those come to mind.
